The Padilla Poll has named two Mineola players to its Class 3A all-state football team, while the All-Smoaky East Texas Team by David Smoaky has also honored the pair.

Yellowjackets earn post-season football honors
The Padilla Poll has named two Mineola players to its Class 3A all-state football team, while the All-Smoaky East Texas Team by David Smoaky has also honored the pair.
On the Padilla team for 3A Division One, junior Dawson Pendergrass was named to the first team offense as a running back and the second team as a punter.
Senior Coy Anderson made the second team defense at linebacker.
The All-Smoaky East Texas Team tabbed Pendergrass as Mr. Iron Man as well as the second team offense at running back.
The regional team includes players from all classifications.
Anderson was awarded a spot on the second team defense.
