November 22

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Pollard, welfare check; deputies located female lying in ditch highly intoxicated. Dawn Miller arrested for public intoxication, possession of controlled substance.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Rich, overdose, CR 1840; deputies contacted male who was awake and talking, advised he took multiple pills possibly laced with fentanyl, EMS transported subject.

Deputy Rich assisted Alba PD, warrant service. Bryan Tennison arrested on an active warrant.

November 23

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Croney, disturbance, Hwy. 37; deputies spoke with female who stated during argument she struck boyfriend, offense report completed, CPS contacted. 

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Croney, criminal trespass, Hwy. 69; male wandered onto caller’s property, wanted him removed. While deputies spoke with subject, he kept speaking to people not there. Alba PD issued multiple criminal trespass warning for subject going onto other properties, transported to receive treatment.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Rich, Deputy Cato, shots fired, CR 4885; deputies’ arrival, they located male with gun to his head, set vehicle on fire. After long standoff, deputies detained male. Dmitri Rape arrested for aggravated assault, injury to child, felon in possession of firearm. 

November 24

Sgt. Cox, Deputy Comeaux, missing person, Holiday Village; caller picked up sister from hospital day before, has not seen since, entered as missing. 

Cpl. Burdick, animal complaint, FM 2966; dogs reported dumped, learned they belonged to that address, caller just saw dogs in roadway. 

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Way, disturbance, Yantis; caller’s husband threw can of beer at her, hit her in face, pointed gun, fled scene before deputy’s arrival, contacted suspect who advised he was armed, would have to be taken out. After standoff, deputies detained male, transported to receive treatment, offense report completed.

November 25

Deputy Way, assault; victim stated boyfriend pushed her, caused her to hit head on cage, kept her from calling 911, offense report completed. 

Deputy Way, disturbance, CR 1660; caller’s juvenile daughter assaulted multiple people in house, transported to receive treatment, Juvenile Probation contacted to assist.

Deputies removed previously reported missing person, missing female located at hotel by another agency, planning to go to hospital for treatment. 

November 26

Deputy Skinner, assault, Hawkins; victim’s friend assaulted her, hitting her, throwing items, deputy observed bruising, offense report, completed.

Cpl. Rapp, theft; caller stated two females who helped with estate sale stole multiple items, trying to sell them, deputy received photos, offense report completed.

Deputies, agency assist, Hwy. 154, trooper on traffic stop requested assistance, female slapped trooper, resisted arrest, while trooper attempted to detain female, boyfriend got out of vehicle, made advances toward trooper, threatened trooper’s life. Both subjects taken into custody. Courtney McKayla Cahoon, resist arrest, search or transport, assault on peace officer; Blaine Elary Volentine, interference with public duties, terroristic threat against peace officer, failure to identify fugitive from justice-refuse to give information, burglary warrant-LaSalle Parish, Louisiana.

November 27

Cpl. Croney, theft; caller received bill from phone company where he did not have account, incident report completed.

Deputy Pollard, warrant service, Adult Probation, Dana Galloway arrested for outstanding warrant.

Cpl. Smith, Deputy Cato, suspicious vehicle, Holly Lake Ranch; vehicle belonged to subject criminally trespassed from residence, did not locate subject, vehicle towed.

Cpl. Croney, animal bite; caller bitten by friend’s monkey, follow up will be completed. 

November 28

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Croney, vehicle accident; driver had left scene prior to deputies’ arrival. Hours later, deputies responded to subject wanting to report vehicle stolen, observed to be under the influence, subject admitted to driving vehicle, causing accident, offense report for false police report will be completed.

Deputy Pollard, dog bite, Quitman ER; while working on job site, victim bitten by two dogs, deputy contacted dog owner who was at vet getting dogs quarantined. 

Sgt. Williams, assault, Winnsboro; someone knocked on caller’s door, hit her in face, ran off. Deputies have responded to this address several times for person knocking on door, observed no signs of assault.
