November 15

Cpl. Rapp, fraud; caller advised someone has written him multiple hot checks for building supplies, will provide hot checks, written agreements.

Sgt. Cox, assault, Holiday Villages; victim and daughter got into argument that became physical, victim refused EMS.

Cpl. Rapp, animal welfare check, CR 2675; dog had multiple lesions, infections, owner advised they would take it to vet, follow up will be completed.

Cpl. Burdick, warrant service, Hopkins County. Hopkins County arrested Bryan Thomas for two outstanding Wood County warrants.

November 16

Sgt. Mayer, missing person; one of caller’s employees missing for a few days, believes subject might have gotten back on drugs, regional BOLO put out.

Lt. Kovic, Cpl. Burdick, unauthorized use of motor vehicle; victim’s stepson took vehicle without permission, deputy located vehicle, suspect fled on foot, vehicle returned to victim, offense report completed.

Cpl. Rapp, welfare check; fellow employee told caller her son pushed her. After deputy took son to Juvenile Probation, he advised he was assaulted by his mother. Yolanda Santiago arrested for assault.

November 17

Lt. Milbourn, Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Whisenhunt, missing person; caller advised employee missing for a few days. Deputies conducted search near subject’s residence where he was located deceased. Autopsy ordered.

Cpl. Croney, accident, Hwy. 154; victim advised car responsible for accident fled scene. Deputies located suspect, Delynn Ballew, arrested for failure to stop and render aid.

Deputy Rich, terroristic threat; caller advised food delivery man called her, advised he had turned down wrong driveway, man began chasing, yelling at him, pointed firearm, offense report completed.

November 18

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Whisenhunt, disturbance, FM 14; caller heard argument between father and mother on the phone. Deputies located couple, female still in fear. Mark White arrested for assault by threat.

Deputy Whisenhunt, theft, CR 3497; victim had friend work on vehicle, when he got it running, he left, did not return it. Deputies learned friend given permission to use vehicle. 

Deputy Pollard, theft; caller advised several items stolen from property, used tracker to ping items in a different county. All items entered as stolen, appropriate agency contacted to attempt to locate items, agency recovered stolen items.

Cpl. Smith, physical disturbance, CR 2129; caller and wife in argument with their daughter, she became physical. Kyla Phillips arrested for assault causing bodily injury.

November 19

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Pollard, accident, Hwy. 80; vehicle in wrong lane of traffic, multiple calls about head on collision, opposing driver transported by EMS with minor injuries.

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Smith, agency assist, Mineola. Mineola PD requested unit to locate male who stole items from store, located male at residence, stolen items also located.

Cpl. Smith, traffic stop, Hwy 37. Leslie Tomlinson arrested for driving while intoxicated.

November 20

Deputy Skinner, burglary, Private Road 8571; property owner advised someone broke into building, vandalized it, did not steal any items, owner did not wish to pursue charges. 

Deputy Comeaux, theft, Private Road 5553; victim’s golf cart stolen, located it at this address, golf cart impounded until deputies can confirm victim can pick up cart.

Cpl. Burdick, theft, CR 3419; caller advised trailer he borrowed was stolen from yard, trailer owner provided VIN, trailer entered as stolen.

November 21

Sgt. Cox, Deputy George, located missing vehicle, Hawkins; deputies located truck previously entered as stolen, recovered vehicle, possible suspect not at residence.

Sgt. Mayer, Sgt. Cox, Deputy Comeaux, overdose, FM 2869; juvenile possibly took large amount of pills, subject denied needing EMS assistance, no adults present, transported to receive treatment, CPS contacted.

Deputies, disturbance, FM 49; victim advised ex and several friends at residence waiting for him, argument broke out, one of the males charged at victim, victim pulled out firearm for protection, suspect struck victim, knocking several teeth out. Coy Anderson arrested for assault.

Sgt. Mayer, structure fire, Alba. Alba fire dept. responded, put out fire.
