July 26

Deputy Skinner, warrant service, Alba. Shane Davis arrested for active warrant.

Deputy Hughes, Mineola PD, assault; deputy learned assault occurred out of county, contacted appropriate agency, victim given ride to hotel.

Sgt. Mayer assisted Franklin County with pursuit; driver crashed into pond. Donny Bass arrested, transported to Hopkins County.

July 27

Deputy Rapp, assault; victim advised husband assaulted her in June, choked her, advised son was witness, case forwarded to investigations

Deputy Rapp; caller received treatment several months ago, father took his guns from residence, will not return, victim was advised he is allowed to retrieve firearms, did not wish to pursue charges.

Deputy Comeaux, welfare check, Lake Winnsboro; Brandy Flowers found to have active warrant, transported to jail.

Sgt. Mayer, motorist assist, Hwy. 80; Travis Moskowitz found to have active warrants, transported to jail.

July 28 

Sgt. Morison, Deputy Way, suicidal subject, Hwy. 154; subject attempted to strike family members during mental episode, transported to receive treatment.

Sgt. Williams, dog bite, CR 1122; victim advised stray dog came up to her, bit her on leg, deputies unable to locate dog, victim received treatment at hospital.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Way, Deputy Smith, warrant service, Yantis. Joshua Back arrested for outstanding warrant.

July 29

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Pollard, suspicious person, FM 2869; male knocked on caller’s door asking for water, stated he had been chased. Deputies located subject who appeared to be under influence of narcotics. Darrell King arrested for public intoxication.

Cpl. Croney; caller advised several months back, father took firearms for safe keeping, would not return them. Deputy contacted father who was advised to return firearms.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Way, suicidal subject; caller advised husband had been drinking, mixing pills, wanting to harm self; subject advised he did not wish to speak to deputies, transported to receive treatment.

Cpl. Rapp, Deputy Rich, Deputy Smith, suicidal subject; caller stated friend told her he took multiple medications. Deputies did not locate him, family contacted, made aware of situation.

Cpl. Rapp, Deputy Smith assisted Hunt County with pursuit that ended at county line. Deputies located vehicle at Kelly’s Korner, when they attempted to make contact, driver fled, reached speeds over 100 mph, pursuit terminated at Smith County line.

July 30

Cpl. Croney, fraud; caller received call from PayPal stating she had fraudulent charge, had been refunded, but company accidentally sent $6,000 extra. The victim sent $6,000 to PayPal which she later learned was scam.

Deputy Pollard, theft; caller advised male attempted to enter residence, when she caught him, stole bike out of garage and fled.

Deputy Rich, traffic stop, Hwy. 37; driver, Jimmy Petrea, arrested for active warrant.

July 31

Deputy Hughes, disturbance, CR 4494; victim assaulted by boyfriend, who fled scene, witness stated no assault occurred, no visible injuries from assault, victim wished to pursue charges.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Comeaux, disturbance, CR 2375; son got in mother’s face when she hit him in the face, case forwarded to investigations

Deputy Hughes, criminal trespass, CR 1975; property owner requested criminal trespass on someone not welcome on property, suspect’s girlfriend stated she was assaulted by suspect, who was issued criminal trespass, offense report completed for assault.

August 1

Deputy Hughes, disturbance, FM 17; caller and boyfriend moved out of residence, left item behind, went to retrieve item, verbal altercation began, caller criminally trespassed from residence.

Deputy Hughes, theft, CR 3155; victim stated boyfriend’s sister stole phone, suspect advised she was given phone, lost it, theft report completed.

Sgt. Mayer, Cpl. Burdick, disturbance, CR 4608; during argument, suspect, Jesse Wilson, threw water bottle at father leaving mark, arrested for assault.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Hughes, Deputy Comeaux, criminal trespass, CR 3144; someone who had been trespassed from residence attempted to break in, climbed on top of refrigerator in attempt to enter through window, fled scene before deputies arrival, offense report completed.
