Sean of the South performing in Mineola

The Flint and Steel Coalition is hosting an evening of storytelling and music with Sean Dietrich “Sean of the South” for belly laughs and good ole Southern hospitality on Dec. 3.

After the show join him for a meet and greet, where he’ll be hugging necks, shaking hands and signing books.

Dietrich is a columnist, novelist and stand-up storyteller known for his commentary on life in the American South. His work has appeared in Newsweek, Southern Living, Reader’s Digest, Garden and Gun, The Tallahassee Democrat, the Birmingham News, The Mobile Press Register, and his column appears in newspapers throughout the U.S. He has authored 15 books, he is the creator of the Sean of the South Podcast and makes appearances on the Grand Ole Opry.

Proceeds will benefit Flint & Steel Coalition, a not-for-profit, community-led organization aiming to advance educational, recreational and artistic opportunities for people of all ages in the Wood County area, but especially for youth and young adults. Doors open at 3 p.m. and the show starts at 4.
