Protesters at the Sonic Drive-In in Mineola were met by employees with positive messages Saturday afternoon.  The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission-Dallas district has filed suit representing eight female employees in a sexual harassment claim against the company. The case is tentatively set for trial in September in the Eastern District federal court in Tyler. A motion for summary judgment by the defendant was not granted, and attempted mediation in March yielded no results.
