We are gearing up for our Second Annual Restaurant Week. It will happen Feb. 11 through 17 in Mineola. Participating restaurants will have deals or specials for you to enjoy.

Funds raised during restaurant week will benefit the library. Watch our Facebook page for a list of participating restaurants. This community really supported us last year and we hope you do the same this year.

We follow several book clubs and have a display showcasing the ones we follow. After these clubs announce their next selections, we will update the display.

We follow Reese’s book club, Read with Jenna, GMA book club, Mocha Girls Read, a decades challenge, and locally East Texas Perfictionists as well as East Texas Library Friends. Stop by and see what others are reading, you might find something you would want to try.

We continue to offer Toddler Story Time on Tuesdays at 9 a.m., Pre-School Story Time on Wednesdays at 10 a.m., Home-school Heroes the first and third Fridays at 10 a.m., and with registration, American Girls Historical Reading Club on the second Saturday.

We thank the Elizabeth Denton English Chapter: National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution for tackling and organizing a file cabinet for us. They are working on a plan to make this particular unit more user friendly.
