Mineola Memorial Library Notes
Finally, we got some much needed rain in many parts of the area. It may not have been a lot of rain, but it was rain. It still exists.
Fall programs are back in full swing at the library.
Toddlers at 9 a.m. on Tuesday mornings for 18 month to 3 year olds and their parent/caregiver.
Preschool Story Time Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. for 3-5 year olds and parent/caregiver.
New this fall
Crazy 8 Math Club on Tuesday afternoons at 4 p.m. for K-5 grade.
Green Crafting the second Thursday of the month at 10 a.m. Crafting with recycled materials. This month is a recycled vase and will take about an hour to complete. This is a program for adults.
Home-school Fun the first and third Fridays of the month at 10 a.m. An activity for the family to complete while providing a social time for home-school families to get to know each other. First gathering will be Friday, Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. with Tin Art craft.
We say a fond farewell to our long-time employee Haven. She has been with us for four years and is pursuing a career in the medical field. We will miss her and we do wish her well in her new endeavor.
