Mineola grad honored
Cecelia Brumsey, principal at Roberson Middle School in the Spring ISD and a Mineola Class of 92 graduate, has been chosen as the secondary principal of the year.
Brumsey became the principal in 2021.
She had been the 8th grade associate principal since 2018 and has also been the 7th grade assistant principal at Roberson, which is located in North Houston.
She joined Spring ISD in 2004 as a math teacher at Westfield High School and has served as summer school principal several times.
