Visitation for Lord “John” Grisham, 83, of Alba was held at 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023 at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.

Interment was in Pilgrim Rest #2 Cemetery, Golden.

Mr. Grisham passed away Aug. 12, 2023 in Tyler. He was born April 28, 1940 in Carlsbad, N.M. to J.V. and Lessie Marie Worthey Grisham. John lived most of his life in the Alba area. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jack “Sam” Grisham, Jr., Andy Grisham and Howell J. Grisham; sister, Sheila Bunch; and sister-in-law, Emmie Grisham.

Survivors include his son, Danin Russell Grisham; two daughters, Kimberly Zolan and husband John of Connecticut and Christina Tidwell of Crowley; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
