Kiwanis fundraiser set Monday
The Mineola Kiwanis Club is hosting a fundraiser, in partnership with Pizza Hut, to help in the removal of maternal and neonatal tetanus. The fundraiser will occur from open to close at Pizza Hut this Monday with a minimum purchase of $15 in Pizza Hut food. Dine-in or carryout.
Participants must have a Pizza Hut flyer, which you can get from any Kiwanis member or by visiting the Mineola Kiwanis Club Facebook page.
There are 18 countries in the world that have not eliminated tetanus. Since Kiwanis International joined the fight against maternal and neonatal tetanus, infant mortality rates have dropped to less than 25 a day. Kiwanis plans to help validate eleven more countries this year.
