John Franklin James, Jr. 1943-2024

John Franklin James, Jr., 80, of Yantis passed away on Jan. 14, 2024. A celebration of his life took place on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Holmes James of Yantis; daughter, Julieann Jackson and husband Craig of Rockwall; brother, Tim James and wife Carolyn of Edgewood; and two grandchildren.

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert
