Highway resurfacing planned in Quitman
State Highway 154 in Quitman is being resurfaced from State Highway 37 at the Quitman Square east to Elaine Dr.
Weather permitting, the project should take 2-3 weeks to complete.
This project is for mill and inlay. Work includes parking spaces, shoulders and the main lanes.
Crews will mill the current surface this week, then lay hot mix the following week. Motorists should expect lane closures in the eastbound and westbound lanes.
Drewery Construction Company, Inc. is the contractor.
