Disc golfers converge on Mineola

The Mineola Disc Golf Club is hosting an open tournament at the Mineola Nature Preserve course Saturday and Sunday, March 23-24.

Entry fees are $100 for the pro divisions, $75 for amateur divisions and $50 for junior divisions and includes a player dinner on Saturday.

Sponsors include the Mineola Economic Development Corp., the Wood County Economic Development Commission and Dynamic Disc.

Proceeds will help fund improvements to the course.

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
