Who killed Malachai Stout and why?

That’s the question Wood County Democrats will try to answer when they host their fall fundraiser, a murder mystery, Saturday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. at the Forever Young Activity Center, 404 S. Main in Quitman.

Cost is $20 and includes food and beverages and door prizes.

The members of the Stout family have gathered at aging patriarch Malachai Stout’s stately home for a family reunion. None of the quirky members of the Stout clan enjoy the company of the others. However, the possibility of a significant inheritance has lead each of them to at least take the time to attend Malachai Stout’s family events. 

Hear facts, listen to their stories, see clues (muddy boots, last-minute changed will, missing jewels), question allegiances and decide and vote on the suspect.
