Class of ‘72 seeks funds for injured classmate

David Mabus of Mineola was driving his motorcycle to work on Oct. 3 when he was struck from behind.

He has been in intensive care at UT Health Hospital since then and was moved recently to long-term acute care.

Class of 1972 members have established accounts to assist with the family’s medical expenses and rehabilitation.

A GoFundMe account has been established for those out of town, and they have set up an account at the Mineola Community Bank in his name.
