Church plans homecoming

Homecoming and revival services will begin at Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Mineola (1420 CR 2460) on Sunday, Sept. 17. The 89th homecoming services will begin at 10 a.m. as part of morning worship service (no Sunday School).

Adam McMahon will lead the worship service and Bro. Bobby Tucker will bring the message. There will be a potluck lunch and time of fellowship in the Family Life Center following morning services.

Revival services will run Sept. 17-20 at 7 p.m. nightly.

The evangelist will be Bro. Jason Aultman, lead pastor of Antioch Baptist Church, Conway, Ark.

Worship will be under the direction of Bro. Drew Russell, pastor of music and media of First Baptist Church, Magnolia, Ark. were he has served for six years.

Nursery will be provided for children 4 years and younger.

Following Wednesday night’s service there will be a time of fellowship and snacks in the Family Life Center.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Come on over to Mineola’s beautiful Historic Select Theater and hear the Lake Country Symphonic Band’s Christmasy “Everything Christmas” concert.

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
