Cecilia Louise Cole 1948-2023

Cecilia Louise Cole, 74, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023.

She was born on Sept. 16, 1948 in Alvin to the late Aaron Cecil Easterling and Margie Brown Easterling. Cecilia obtained a bachelor of science in nursing and was a registered nurse for 30 years in the Quitman and Winnsboro area. Some of her hobbies included watching her grandchildren fish and play ball. She enjoyed arts and crafts, especially painting.

Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents, Margie Brown Easterling and Aaron Cecil Easterling; brothers, Jimmie Easterling and Charles Easterling; and granddaughter, Allison Cole.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Cole; sons, Bobby Cole and wife Kim, and Joe Bart Cole; sister-in-law, Margaret Easterling; grandchildren, Dustin Cole and Erin Carden and husband Doug; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Lucas Carden; sister, Gail Marcelo and husband Ollie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert
