Early voting for March 4 primary begins
Early voting for the March 4 primary election began on Feb. 18 at 8:00 a.m. Those who want to vote early can do so in the basement of the Wood County Courthouse, located at 100 S. Main St. in Quitman.
Friday, Feb. 21 is the cut-off date to receive applications for a ballot by mail. Early voting will end on Feb. 28.
You must present a form of photo identification if you vote in person: a Texas Driver's License, Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by the DPS, personal identification card, concealed handgun license, military identification card with photograph, citizenship certificate with photograph or U.S. passport are acceptable forms of identification. The identification must be current or have expired no more than 60 days before you vote.
