April 3

Cpl. Rapp, disturbance, CR 2146; victim advised by phone boyfriend intentionally ran 4-wheeler into tree, then stated he was fine, was not intentional, male advised he was fine, did not do it intentionally, did not want EMS, neither wished to cooperate.

Deputy Comeaux, theft; victim hired someone to work on stove pipe, placed deposit, never showed up, filed civil suit, deputies in another county unable to locate to serve paperwork, offense report completed.

Sgt. Cox, dangerous dog, Private Road 8574; dog out in the neighborhood again previously deemed dangerous, caller observed male on motorcycle calling dog to residence, dog owner advised dog was never out, follow up will be completed.

April 4

Sgt. Cox, abandoned property, FM 2225; boat on caller’s property came from neighbor, who stated trailer axle broke, has ordered new parts to get it fixed and removed.

Deputies, follow up on previous dangerous dog; secured dog, took it to Sheriff’s Office.

Cpl. Rapp, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, Private Road 5174; victim’s son-in-law took vehicle, made suicidal comments, located subject and vehicle, vehicle returned to owner, subject transported to receive treatment.

Sgt. Mayer, Deputy Comeaux assisted DPS, Winnsboro PD with major accident, three victims flown to hospital.

April 5 

Deputy Rich, burglary, FM 515; after victim’s house burned, moved items into storage building, someone broke in, stole items, possible suspect given, no items located at his residence, offense report completed.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Williams, warrant service, Hawkins; deputies observed wanted subject who fled on foot, detained subject, cleared by EMS, denied by jail due to medical issues, taken to hospital, waiting to be cleared.

Cpl. Croney, suicidal subject; caller received concerning texts by phone from female, forwarded to deputy, contact made, advised she was fine, due to concerning messages, female transported for treatment.

Deputy Pollard, disturbance, CR 1570; male subject advised wife stabbed him in face, she quit taking medication, having breakdown due to cancer, suspect fled prior to deputies’ arrival, case forwarded to investigations. 

April 6

Deputy Rich, UUMV, FM 2966; caller left vehicle at friend’s house for years, now gone; friend advised did not know when vehicle removed, unable to provide vehicle information to enter as stolen.

Deputy Rich, assault, CR 2150; female threw can at victim, would like to press charges, unable to locate suspect, incident report completed.

Lt. Milbourn,  Cpl. Smith, disturbance, CR 3470; male grabbed girlfriend by head and shoulders, shoved her. Maxwell Burch arrested for assault. 

April 7

Deputy Whisenhunt, burglary, CR 3440; someone broke into victim’s boat dock, stole items, provided game camera footage of possible suspect.

Deputy Pollard, injury to a child; caller saw male choking, punching disabled child, child did not show signs of injury. The father stated he and son wrestle, he would not hurt child.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Williams, dog bite, disturbance; neighbor’s dog bit caller’s daughter on leg, neighbor advised subject making threats, parties separated, victim checked by EMS, dog owner will try to find vaccine records.

April 8

Deputy Skinner, criminal trespass; caller has issued tenant several eviction papers, still has not left, advised once subject leaves property with belongings, he can be criminally trespassed. 

Sgt. Mayer,  Cpl. Smith, disturbance, CR 2150; homeowner and brother got into verbal altercation, wants him trespassed from property. 

Sgt. Mayer, Deputy Way, overdose; before deputies’ arrival, caller disconnected with dispatch, unable to contact, spoke with female at residence, advised everyone was fine. Deputies checked other residences in area, all advised everyone was fine. 

April 9

Deputy Skinner, vehicle theft; caller wanted to report vehicle stolen, provided license plate, did not return to her, unable to provide proof of ownership, report will not be filed until then.

Deputy Comeaux, noise complaint, CR 4586; subject in area upset with another neighbor over loud music, female neighbor playing loud siren to get back at neighbors, asked to turn off siren.

 Cpl. Rapp, CPS, child abuse; report of female possibly abusing child, child found to have bruising all over him, case forwarded to investigations.
