Quitman’s Maddy Pence signed a letter of intent last Thursday to attend Southern Arkansas University where she will run cross country and track.

Quitman’s Maddy Pence signed a letter of intent last Thursday to attend Southern Arkansas University where she will run cross country and track. She is pictured with her family (from left) father Shannon Pence, Maddy, mother Mishea and brother Allen.
Pence also played varsity basketball, volleyball and softball during her four years at QHS. Cross Country Coach Mike Scott said Pence was “The foundation that helped build this program from just a few to over 30 girls who now are involved in cross country.”
