Music in May to return to gazebo

The city of Mineola brings back its free Music in May concert series for the third year.

Performers will appear at the downtown gazebo for each of the five Thursdays in May, beginning Thursday, May 2 with popular local act Blue Mudbone at 6:30 p.m.

Future musicians include Terry Klein and Stefan Prigmore on May 9, Wesley Pruitt on May 16, Venture South on May 23 and Jennifer Pisarcik on May 30.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
