We made it through the eclipse! What an awesome thing!

If you’re one of our regulars, please let us know how we are doing and what you would like to have on a wish list for the future.

Because of the Texas Library Association’s Annual Conference in San Antonio April 16-19, we will not be hosting Toddler Time or Preschool Story Time but will be back next week.

There are two book clubs that Mineola Memorial Library hosts. One is the East Texas Library Friends book club and they are meeting on Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m. in the Lillie Russell Memorial Library in Lindale. East Texas Library Friends will be discussing Clint Hill’s “Five Presidents.”

The second book club is the East Texas Perfictionists and they meet the last Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. April 25. East Texas Perfictionists will be discussing “Jane and Prudence” by Barbara Pym. Both groups welcome new members. If you have read the book, that is awesome. If you have not read the book, feel free to listen to the discussion and participate where ever the discussion goes.

Thank you to all who purchased items from the CNB Bake Sale on March 29. A big thank you to City National Bank Mineola for hosting the event.

The Mineola Memorial Library is a 501(c)3, non-profit and we do not receive money from the county or the city. Your donations help keep us going and they may be tax-deductible.
