Michael Rudy Medina 1967-2023

Visitation for Michael Rudy Medina, 56, of Mesquite was held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, 2023 at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.

Mr. Medina passed away Nov. 27, 2023 in Longview. He was born March 26, 1967 in Dallas to Johnny Medina and Josephine Alaman. He lived most of his life in Mesquite and worked as a welder in commercial kitchen installation. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Sandi Quinn.

Survivors include his son, Chris Jackson of Austin; two daughters, Devin Medina of Mesquite and Kirstie Medina and Cody Donnell of Alba; sister, Christy Medina and Brian McNeal of Mesquite; brother, Johnny Medina of Houston; four grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
