To the editor:
In response to Mr. Hildreth last week, I moved here from Dallas in 1965 (thank God) and am happy to report nothing like that has happened to me since I’ve been here.
But it is very presumptuous of Mr. Hildreth to accuse a whole town of being a thief. Perhaps it could have been someone passing through town or someone recently moved here from out of town.
You’re welcome to stick around for a few more years and maybe it’ll get better for you like it did for me.
