Grand Saline hosted Quitman for homecoming Friday night, with the Indians posting a 39-6 victory for the hometown faithful.
Grand Saline had its first points nine minutes into the game to lead 6-0 and added a score for a 14-0 lead at the 1:48 mark.
A field goal made the halftime score 17-0.
Third period scores at 4:20 and 1:31 stretched the lead to 30-0, where it stood after three periods.
Quitman got on the board with 6:27 to play but gave up a safety on the extra point to make it 32-6.
Grand Saline added a final touchdown.
