Event planned Monday for MLK Day cancelled

With the threat of inclement weather, this event has been cancelled.

The Mineola Ministerial Alliance invites all residents to the 2024 celebration of Unity in the Community at the St. Paul’s Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, Jan. 15.

Celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  the event will run from 10:30 a.m.-noon with refreshments served afterwards. 

The theme of this year’s commemoration is titled, “Choose WE.”

The event is sponsored by the Ministerial Alliance Patrons, St. Paul’s Music Ministry and others.

Pastor Demethrius Boyd appealed to fellow residents, “All we ask is to please come and support unity in our community.”

St. Paul’s Missionary Baptist Church is located at 304 Stone St., Mineola.
