Billie Deen Harrison, a cherished resident of Quitman, passed away on Oct. 21, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and family. Billie was born to Joe Henry and Lillie Faye Williams in Corsicana March 28, 1948.

Billie’s life was marked by her enduring spirit of kindness and unwavering love for her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earnest Harrison; as well as her parents, Joe Henry and Lillie Faye Williams; and her brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Ivey, Bobby Williams, Dwain Williams, Edward Williams, Gary Williams, Arthur Williams and Jake Williams. 

Billie’s greatest joy came from being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion in her three children and their families, Rhonda and Scott Turner of Quitman, Ray and Kellie Harrison of Frisco and Robert and Kim Harrison of Cypress; her grandchildren, Jeremy Turner of Frisco, Justin and Megan Harrison of Cypress, Megan and Clay Boyd of Holly Lake Ranch and Cash Harrison of Frisco; and her great-grandchildren, Kenadi, Holden, Copelyn, Jameson, Maverick and Luke. They will forever carry Nana’s sweet spirit in their hearts. Billie also leaves behind her siblings, Doris Kennemore, Lynn Williams and Donnie Williams, who shared a lifetime of memories and love with her. 

Her love and kindness will continue to be a source of strength and inspiration to her children and their families.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Heritage Hospice Care Team and the staff at The Wesley House for their exceptional care and support during Billie’s final days.

Billie Deen Harrison’s memory will forever be cherished. She was a woman of strength, love and resilience, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, a testament to the enduring power of love and the bonds of family. As we say our final goodbyes to Billie, we take solace in the knowledge that she is now reunited with her beloved husband and her cherished family members who have gone before her. May her soul find eternal peace and may her legacy of love and kindness continue to shine brightly in our hearts.

A private family memorial service to celebrate Billie’s life will be held on Nov. 18, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Mineola, with Brother Mike Midkiff officiating the service.
