“Minute Silent Prayer: County Judge H. V. Puckett of Wood County has issued the following proclamation to the people of his county: ‘That at 12:01 on Monday, February 22, 1926, be a period of One Minute silent prayer, when the entire citizenship of the county is requested to pause from every pursuit and unite in one minute of silent prayer expressing our praise and gratitude to God for the blessings received. All ministers, teachers, newspapers and everyone interested will please announce the proclamation, the date and time, that everyone, old and young, may know.’”
