May 27
Deputy Williams and Deputy Tustin responded to an overdose in Hawkins. The subject was transported by EMS to receive treatment.
May 28
Sgt Cox responded to an EMS assist on FM 312. Contact was made with the caller who was just wanting medicine from EMS. EMS was notified and cleared the scene. Deputies have responded to this address multiple times for the same issue.
Deputy Way took a criminal trespass call by phone. The caller advised their daughter keeps showing up under the influence trying to see her child. The daughter was transported by EMS to receive treatment and was issued a criminal trespass warning.
Deputies responded to a suicidal subject. The caller advised their juvenile daughter had lacerations on her wrist. The juvenile was transported to receive treatment.
May 29
Deputy George and Deputy Whisenhunt responded to a welfare concern on County Road 2950. The caller advised a male subject was making outlandish claims and they were concerned about him. Upon arrival, the subject was located and EMS provided him with a sedative so he could be transported to the hospital.
Lt Morrison and Deputy Swann responded to an armed subject on County Road 4815. Contact was made with the subject who advised he was out walking and exercising his Second Amendment rights.
Sgt Rich and Quitman PD responded to the Quitman ER for a patient attempting to leave. The male subject from a previous call was placed on an emergency detention warrant and attempted to leave the hospital. The subject assaulted hospital staff and they wished to press charges. An offense report was completed.
Sgt Rich and Deputy Vanatta were dispatched to a burglary on County Road 3277. The victim advised a male subject broke in and stole multiple items. An offense report was completed.
May 30
Sgt Williams, Deputy Swann, and Deputy Hammond responded to an assault on Private Road 7521. The caller advised she went to check on her ex and when she arrived, his new girlfriend assaulted her. Bobbie Clark, was arrested for assault.
Deputy Hammond responded to a found child on County Road 2166. Upon arrival, Deputy Hammond located the child walking in the roadway. After further investigation, it was determined the father was supposed to be watching the child while the mother was at work. Braden Cremshaw, was arrested for child endangerment.
Sgt Rich, Deputy Nichols, and Deputy Vanatta performed a warrant service on FM 2966. Bryan Bass, was arrested on an active warrant.
Deputy Gloar performed a welfare check on Hwy 69. The male subject was found to have an active warrant out of Titus County and was arrested.
May 31
Sgt Williams and Deputy Swann responded to an assault on County Road 4280. The victim advised her boyfriend elbowed her and caused her to fall off a parked motorcycle. The victim did not wish to cooperate further or complete any paperwork. A report will be completed.
Sgt Williams and Deputy Swann responded to a hit and run on FM 515. The caller stated they stopped to assist another vehicle when a vehicle behind them struck them and fled the scene. A possible suspect was provided and the case will be forwarded to investigations.
Sgt Rich took a request to speak by phone. The caller advised his firearm was missing and he was not sure if it had been stolen. The firearm was entered as stolen.
June 1
Sgt Cox and Deputy Smith responded to a disturbance in Holly Lake Ranch. Juvenile Probation was contacted and the juvenile was transported to receive treatment.
Deputies performed an agency assist in Mineola. Deputies assisted Mineola PD with a warrant subject where a female was placed in custody on an active warrant. Deputies were made aware of another wanted subject in the area and Cody Heidleberg, was arrested on an active warrant.
June 2
Deputies performed a warrant service on County Road 1681. Charity Lewis, was arrested on an active warrant.
Deputies were dispatched to a large disturbance at Lake Holbrook beach. Upon deputies arrival, two groups of people were located and statements were taken. After further investigation, Daymien Bankston, was arrested for assault, disorderly conduct, and breach of peace. Four citations were issued and nine criminal trespass warnings were issued.
Deputy Williams and Deputy Haney responded to a vehicle in the water at Lake Quitman. All three occupants were able to escape the vehicle and it was removed from the water.
