Deputy Way, assault, Quitman ER. Victim said assaulted multiple times in last few months by suspect; offense report completed, case will be forwarded to investigations. 

Deputy Vanatta, traffic stop, Hwy. 80. Deputy Vanatta located vehicle that drove into ditch, driver located laying in ditch. Ismael Barboza arrested for DWI and a warrant for DWI, fail to ID. 

Sgt. Rich, agency assist, Mineola. Mineola PD said stolen truck enroute to their city, occupants throwing items out of vehicle. Pursuit ended in Van Zandt County when driver ran into ditch while turning. Driver arrested. 

March 26

Lt. Morrison, Deputy Whisenhunt, runaway juvenile. Caller said juvenile son assaulted mother, left residence. Juvenile located, arrested for assault family violence. 

Lt. Morrison, Deputy Smith, criminal trespass, Hwy. 154. During investigation suspect Russell Whited found to have meth pipe on his person, arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Deputy Whisenhunt, burglary, FM 49. Caller said firearms, gun safe stolen, offense report completed. 

Deputy Gloar, disturbance. Aaron Mason arrested for assault family violence. 

March 27

Deputy Nichols, criminal mischief. Caller said believes ex-wife keyed his girlfriend’s car. Offense report completed. 

Deputy Tustin, agency assist, Quitman. Quitman PD said currently in pursuit, driver wrecked vehicle, fled on foot, deputies located driver hiding behind residence, placed in custody. 

Deputy Williams, Deputy Tustin, suicidal subject, CR 4850. Subject made suicidal statements, transported to receive treatment. 

March 28

Deputy Haley, burglary, FM 49. Caller said someone broke into residence again, stole more items. Offense report completed. 

Sgt. Cox, Deputy Knox, assault, Holly Lake Ranch. Caller said husband struck her father in the face. Brian Jordan arrested for assault family violence. 

Deputy Williams, Deputy Tustin, suspicious person, CR 1950. Jerry Toney arrested for possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest. 

March 29

Deputy Haney, theft, Holly Lake Ranch. Victim said someone stole motorcycle from residence. Motorcycle entered as stolen. Deputy Haney located motorcycle later, returned to owner. 

Deputy Nichols, death investigation, CR 2632. Subject located in his residence, no signs of foul play. 

Deputy Tustin, structure fire, CR 1726. House fully engulfed, no occupants inside. Fire marshal notified. 

March 30

Deputy Whisenhunt, burglary, FM 49. Caller said this is the 4th time house has been broken into recently. Multiple items missing from residence. 

Lt. Milbourn, traffic stop. Upon a positive K9 alert, 9 stolen guns and crystal-like substance located in vehicle, Phillip Williams arrested for possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance. 

Deputy George Deputy Holland, suspicious vehicle, CR 2376. Male subject located inside abandoned shop attempting to steal metal. Ricky Ramirez arrested for burglary of a building. 

March 31

Deputy Smith, unsafe shooting, CR 2610. Caller said neighbor shooting across property line onto caller’s property. Contact made with shooter, who was uncooperative, did not wish to speak. Caller wished to pursue charges. 

Deputy Way, abandoned vehicle, CR 4636. Caller said vehicle left overnight, partially in road. Vehicle towed. 

Deputy Gloar, missing person, CR 3118. Family said subject made suicidal statements before leaving residence; Deputy Gloar located subject, who said left residence after argument.
