Feb. 18
Deputy Knox, theft report. Caller said someone broke into residence, stole items. Offense report completed.
Deputy Swann, stalking, Hwy. 37. Victim said individual threatening her, family members over phone. Suspect provided information about caller, makes her think he is actively watching her. Deputies searched area, did not locate subject. Offense report completed.
Deputy Vanatta, agency assist, Hawkins. One-vehicle accident involving juvenile attempting self-harm, juvenile transported to receive treatment.
Feb. 19
Deputy Knox, suspicious circumstance report. Caller said is CPS worker, client received text from someone impersonating her. No suspect at this time, report completed.
Deputy Vanatta, welfare check, CR 1475. Caller said employee did not come to work, would not answer phone. Deputies located phone number, subject said had been sick. Subject’s employer notified.
Deputy Knox, harassment report. Caller said male texted her during night, she found out he had girlfriend; caller notified girlfriend of situation, now four females harassing her. All subjects notified to stop communicating.
Feb. 20
Sgt. Williams, Deputy Whisenhunt agency assist, Hawkins. Several agencies on scene, requesting entry to residence to check on occupant. Deputies made entry into residence, determined subject in acceptable condition.
Deputy Whisenhunt, theft report. Caller said lived with male who passed away, left her all possessions; when caller returned to residence recently, items missing. Offense report completed.
Deputy Beck, Deputy Gloar, assault, Holiday Village. Subject said male assaulted him, fled. Deputies searched area, unable to locate subject, who also had active warrant. Offense report completed.
Deputy Beck, Deputy Gloar, suspicious vehicle, FM 514. Caller said ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend wanted to show up, fight. Caller Gabriel Higgins arrested on active warrant.
Feb. 21
Deputy Tucker, Deputy Whisenhunt, disturbance, CR 2941. Victim said husband assaulted her during argument, picked up knife, threatened to harm her. Johnny Long arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Deputy Gloar, structure fire, CR 4840. Detached garage burned, everyone made it out. Fire marshal notified.
Feb. 22
Structure fire, Hwy. 69. Vehicle caught fire, caused house to catch also. Fire marshal notified.
Feb. 23
Deputy Haley, burglary, Hawkins. Caller said someone broke into truck, stole lottery ticket. Offense report completed.
Deputy Knox, agency assist, CR 3582. Big Sandy PD said missing juvenile, had possible address, juvenile located, returned to parents.
Sgt. Rich, Deputy Swann, suicidal subject, PR 5935. Victim attempted self-harm, then called 911 requesting assistance. Subject transported by EMS to receive treatment.
Feb. 24
Deputy Tustin, problems with juvenile, Hwy. 80. Caller said child left residence, walking down road; before deputy’s arrival, juvenile returned home. Juvenile’s guardian requested they be checked out, transported by EMS to receive treatment.
Deputy Swann, disturbance, Hwy. 154. Caller said attempted to break up fight, was assaulted, did not wish to pursue charges.
