Deputy Swann, agency assist, Hawkins. Austin PD said stolen guitar found at store in Hawkins. Deputy Swann retrieved guitar, will be returned to owner. 

Lt. Morrison, Sgt. Cox, warrant service, Alba. Rebecca Ferguson arrested on active warrant. 

Deputy George, Deputy Holland, stolen vehicle, CR 4896. Motorcycle missing from yard, entered as stolen. 

Jan. 8

Deputy Knox, scam call. Someone contacted subject claiming to be from sheriff’s office, said subject owed money. Subject discovered scam before sending money. 

Sgt. Skinner, Deputy Haney, disturbance, Hwy. 154. Female yelling for help, Gary Smith arrested for aggravated assault. 

Deputy Williams, assault, CR 3265. Victim did not wish to pursue charges or speak about assault. 

Jan. 9

Deputy Whisenhunt, damaged property, FM 779. Vehicle blowout, parked at store; when caller returned, vehicle damaged. Offense report completed. 

Sgt. Rich, Deputy Vanatta, warrant service, FM 69. Victoria Hunt arrested on active warrant. 

Deputy Beck, suicidal subject, CR 2246. Subject transported to receive treatment.

Jan. 10

Deputy Way, theft, Hwy. 37. Someone broke lock off fuel pump, stole fuel. Camera present, but playback footage not accessible. Offense report completed. 

Deputy Smith, disturbance, Hwy. 37. Subjects arguing over payment for laptop. During argument, one threw 4x4 board, broke house window. Homeowner wished to press charges, offense report completed. 

Deputy Smith, damaged property, CR 3250. Mailbox recently replaced due to damage, new one damaged by rock. 

Deputy Way, stolen vehicle. Vehicle stolen from Upshur County, possibly located. Deputies located vehicle, ran VIN, confirming vehicle stolen. Vehicle towed, will be returned to owner. 

Jan. 11

Deputy Hammond, burglary, CR 3250. Friend broke into residence, stole items. Offense report completed. 

Deputy Whisenhunt, terroristic threat, CR 3250. Ex-wife threatening subject, telling their children to hurt him as well. Case will be forwarded to investigations. 

Sgt. Rich, Deputy Way, disturbance, FM 2966. Subject, mother assaulted by subject’s sister during argument. Suspect left, located by trooper nearby. Chelsea Nixon arrested for assault family violence. 

Deputy Beck, Deputy Gloar, disturbance, PR 8571. Michael Davis arrested for assault family violence. 

Jan. 12

Sgt. Cox, Criminal Investigations District (CID), warrant service, Winnsboro ISD. Brian Wilcox arrested on active warrant. 

Warrant service, FM 49. Clayton Rhodes arrested on active warrant. 

Sgt. Cox, structure fire, FM 779. Subject watching TV when heard popping noises, discovered shed fully engulfed. Fire Marshal notified. 

Deputy Swann, stolen vehicle. Subject awarded truck back, said current vehicle holder will not return. Subject provided paperwork not signed by judge, could not provide vehicle title, told to bring appropriate paperwork. 

Jan. 13

Deputy Knox, theft, FM 17. Someone stole boat from storage unit, entered as stolen, offense report completed. 

Deputy Knox, burglary in progress, CR 1987. Female entered trailer, stole money, was located and detained. During search of suspect’s backpack, crystal-like substance located. Felicia Harrison arrested for possession of a controlled substance and terroristic threats to a household member. 

Missing person, Hawkins. Missing person last seen leaving house in his vehicle Sunday. Deputies searched area, contacted nearby agencies, unable to locate. Subject entered as missing.
