Sgt. Espinoza, Sgt. Williams, verbal disturbance, CR 4494; caller’s son refused to go to school, arguing with her, parties separated, no offense occurred. 

Deputies performed warrant service, FM 2225; Brandon Nichols arrested on warrant. 

Deputy Beck, theft in progress, FM 17; caller saw someone on property on camera attempting to steal tractor, deputies unable to locate suspect. 

December 4

Deputy Hammond, warrant service, adult probation; Seleta Zambrano arrested on active warrant. 

Deputy Hammond, caller’s ex-boyfriend threatened to harm her; home added to extra patrol. 

Deputy Whisenhunt, death investigation, CR 3880; caller located mother deceased in her residence, appropriate agencies contacted. 

December 5

Deputy Swann, county line, transport; Hopkins County arrested David McLoughlin on Wood County warrant. Deputy Swann transported subject to jail. 

Sgt. Cox, vehicle parked in caller’s yard; owner said they would get parts and come back, but haven’t, advised to contact wrecker and have towed. 

December 6

Deputy Haley, Deputy Nicholas, damage to property, CR 3550; Upshur County located missing and destroyed mailboxes, damage into Wood County also, deputies found some mailboxes, returned to owners. 

Sgt. Skinner, Deputy Haney, disturbance, CR 2166; caller’s mother taking care of his kids while intoxicated on narcotics, disturbance ensued until deputies’ arrival. Laura Hazlewood arrested for abandoning/endangering a child. 

December 7

Sgt. Cox, agency assist, Quitman; Quitman PD received call of physical disturbance where victim was cut. Suspect arrested by Quitman PD. Angela Faith Daniels arrested for assault causes bodily injury family violence and interference with an emergency call.

Sgt. Skinner, Deputy Tustin, burglary in progress, Private Road 5944; someone breaking into caller’s house, and she had already shot someone, deputies discovered caller diagnosed with mental issues, was hallucinating, transported to receive treatment. 

December 8

Deputy Smith, Deputy Hammond, warrant service, Hwy. 154; while deputies put subject in custody, he handed white, powdery substance to subject standing nearby. Sean Earl arrested on active warrant and possession of controlled substance. 

Deputy Beck, traffic stop, FM 514; driver Nicholas Reeves arrested for DWI. 

Deputy Way, traffic stop, FM 2869; canine unit contacted due to denied consent; positive alert, white crystal-like substance under console. Driver Kenneth Orr arrested for possession of controlled substance. 

Deputy Gloar, 911 hang up, CR 4798; deputies discovered physical disturbance had occurred. Gracie Elmore arrested for assault family violence. 

December 9

Deputy Beck, animal bite, Quitman ER; victim’s family advised she was bit by grandparents’ dog, had lacerations on head, deputies learned dog had attacked someone previously, owner surrendered dog to prevent further attacks, vaccine records provided. 

Deputies performed warrant service, FM 49. Jarrett King arrested on active warrant.
