Deputies, warrant service, CR 3540; Smith County had warrant on subject at this address, deputies spoke with subject’s father who advised he was in hospital. 

Deputy Hammond, Deputy Knox, criminal trespass, CR 2205; caller observed female break into residence through window, deputies did not locate subject, victim did not wish to pursue charges, another party advised they had been assaulted by suspect, would like to press charges, offense report completed. 

Deputy Williams, Deputy Haney, Deputy Tustin, warrant service, Holly Lake Ranch. Collin Thompson arrested on active warrant. 

October 30

Deputy Haney, welfare check, Holly Lake Ranch; deputy located subject in the floor, EMS checked on subject. 

Deputy Williams, dog bite; child bitten by family dog, dog owner provided vaccine records. 

Deputy Haney, Deputy Tustin, disturbance, Hwy. 154; two subjects in active altercation, Wesley Elsberry arrested for assault family violence. 

October 31

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Gloar, unwanted person, CR 4290; male subject on property with active protection order in place, deputies located subject, Larry Evens, arrested for violation of protection order. 

Deputy Vanatta, burglary, FM 14; someone broke into storage unit, stole items, awaiting list of missing items for offense report. 

November 1

Sgt. Morrison, animal bite, Holiday Village; caller was bitten by neighbors’ dog causing injury, dog owner could not provide vaccine records, issued citation, will keep dog quarantined. 

Deputy Gloar, suspicious circumstance, FM 515; someone entered several buildings, stole items, list of missing items provided, offense report completed. 

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Vanatta, suspicious vehicle, CR 2290; driver had operated vehicle while intoxicated, then pulled over to sleep. Matthew Reece arrested for DWI. 

November 2

Deputy Whisenhunt, assault, CR 1590; male subject assaulted ex-girlfriend. Robert Freeman arrested for assault and violation of bond conditions. 

Deputy Way, criminal mischief, FM 515; someone tried to break into ice machine, caused damage, offense report completed. 

Deputy Vanatta, suspicious circumstance, FM 779; Bikers Against Predators advised they posed as underage person, had someone en route to meet with “child,” subject, confessed to attempting to meet with underage child. Jonathan Felty arrested for online solicitation of minor. 

Deputies, found child; small child showed up to residence partially clothed but uninjured, at nearby address deputies discovered child’s older sister was supposed to be watching her while mother was at work, child returned to parents, CPS contacted. 

Deputy Vanatta, burglary, Hawkins; someone broke into  storage unit, stole items, offense report completed. 

November 3

Deputy Hammond, traffic stop, CR 1960. Brandon Ditmore arrested for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Deputy Hammond, theft, Private Road 7999; victim had medication delivered, when he checked mailbox, package had been opened, medicine was missing, offense report completed. 

Deputies, warrant service, Quitman. Carlos Arnez arrested on active warrant. 

Deputies, warrant service, FM 1799. Marshall Freeman arrested on active warrant for insufficient bond. 

November 4

Deputy Haley, Deputy Swann, abandoned vehicle, FM 14; vehicle had been left partially in roadway for a week, vehicle towed. 

Deputy Haley, Deputy Swann, agency assist, FM 1801. TxDOT advised they needed to do work to a person’s driveway, were concerned how he would react, TxDOT advised homeowner of the work that needed to be done, refused to comply, subject was not on scene at the time the work was completed.
