Deputy Smith, burglary, CR 2768; someone broke into house and barn during night, stole items, possible suspect provided, offense report completed. 

Lt. Milbourn, Deputy Vanatta, reckless driver, FM 2869; deputies located vehicle, contacted driver, observed glass pipe with crystal-like residue in vehicle. Jamie Wood arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Deputy Beck, suicidal subject, FM 288; caller stated she was in a lot of pain, tired of dealing with it, transported by EMS to receive treatment. 

October 9

Lt. Milbourn, Deputy Vanatta, theft; victim stated brother stole late mother’s oxygen tank from residence, offense report completed. 

Lt. Milbourn, Deputy Vanatta, disturbance, CR 2320; victim and her boyfriend traveling in vehicle when they got into argument, male pulled over, female got out, male drove off, victim did not wish to press charges. 

Cpl. Rich, traffic stop, FM 2869. Jordan Coyne arrested on three active warrants. 

October 10

Deputy Williams, Deputy Swann, assault, Jarvis Christian University; information gathered from victim, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Haney, traffic stop, Hwy. 154. Dustin Holloway arrested on active warrants. 

October 11

Deputy Knox, assault, CR 1970; unknown subject accused victim of stealing items, assaulted him, offense report completed. 

Sgt. Cox, Deputy Hammond, shots fired, FM 2869; neighbor shooting, victim heard bullets coming onto property, while deputies on scene, heard shots coming from neighbor’s property, who was uncooperative, bullet located on victim’s property, offense report completed. 

Deputies assisted DPS with ATV accident, CR 3440; victim  flown from scene, while deputies on scene, friend showed up driving ATV. James Jerden arrested for DWI. 

October 12

Deputy Hammond, Deputy Knox, disturbance, Hwy. 80; both parties advised they were in verbal altercation, female assaulted male. Laura Vickery arrested for assault family violence. 

Deputy Knox, assault; one year ago victim was assaulted by boyfriend while she was pregnant, deputy awaiting photos of assault, offense report will be completed. 

Deputies, disturbance, FM 17. Michael Ringgold arrested for aggravated assault with deadly weapon. 

October 13

Deputy Beck, harassment; caller stated soon-to-be ex-husband’s sister has been threatening her by phone, husband advised he knew sister and wife were communicating, subject advised to stop all communications. 

Deputy Vanatta, suspicious vehicle, CR 4985; vehicle sitting in roadway with lights off, deputy located vehicle, driver stated he was parking in odd places because his mother did not want his girlfriend’s dog on property. 

Deputy Vanatta, disturbance, Holiday Village; caller removing items from mother’s house, her boyfriend threatened him, won’t let him leave, subject was loading items into his car, advised he would not return to residence. 

October 14

Lt. Milbourn, agency assist, FM 515; canine deployed, positive alert made, during search, 40 grams of methamphetamine located. Dustin Mclenny arrested for possession of controlled substance and child endangerment (three counts).

Lt. Milbourn, traffic stop, Yantis; driver appeared to throw glass pipe out window, deputy located pipe, driver, Tandra Segars arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and tamper/fabricate evidence. 

Deputy Beck, Deputy Vanatta, agency assist, Mineola; Mineola PD initiated traffic stop, requested additional units; driver arrested for possession of controlled substance, possession of stolen vehicle.
