October 2
Cpl. Rapp, theft; female came into residence, stole car key, subject later arrested, key is in her property, refusing to return key, offense report completed
Deputy Skinner, animal concern, CR 3470; deputy observed dog tied up, tangled up in chain unable to walk, dog was untangled, unable to locate owner.
Cpl. Rapp, stolen vehicle, CR 1947; male stole vehicle, victim unable to contact him, vehicle entered as stolen, caller later advised location of vehicle, did not wish to pursue charges.
Deputy Williams, protection order violation; ex-boyfriend has tried to call and text victim, offense report completed
Sgt. Mayer, Deputy Williams, physical disturbance, Private Road 6779; male got into argument with granddaughters’ boyfriend that turned physical. Michael Bridges arrested for assault by contact.
October 3
Cpl. Rapp, criminal mischief, CR 1676; male broke glass front door, ran away, offense report completed
Cpl. Burdick, structure fire, Hwy. 37; fire department had flames put out, corner of building received damage, fire marshal notified.
Deputy Williams, Deputy Way, criminal trespass, CR 2940; victim advised ex-husband on property violating order, order is from civil court, subject not arrested.
Cpl. Burdick, traffic stop, CR 1326; vehicle slowed down, immediately turned onto county road pulling over; deputy observed spoon with crystal-like substance in plain view. Neil Rugg arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
October 4
Sgt. Williams, Deputy Comeaux, assault in progress, CR 3582; both parties left scene, victim returned, advised she was struck several times and choked, then struck suspect with hammer to get him off her. Enrique Ajanel arrested for assault.
Cpl. Rich, suspicious vehicle, CR 3811; vehicle empty, while searching area, deputy heard vehicle start, attempt to hide on another road, driver Jason Edwards found to have active warrant, crystal-like substance, firearm located in vehicle, suspect also charged with possession of controlled substance, unlawful possession of weapon.
Cpl. Rich, Deputy Holland, suspicious person, Private Road 6882; female located near food pantry, setting boxes on fire to stay warm, property owner requested subject criminally trespassed.
October 5
Deputy Whisenhunt, theft, Hwy. 80; someone stole mower while victim out of town, possible suspects provided, mower was entered as stolen.
Cpl. Rich, Deputy Way, suspicious circumstance, Hwy. 154; caller advised several people outside house trying to harm him; caller came outside with glass pipe in his hand, search located second pipe, bag containing crystal-like substance. Luis Moreno arrested for possession of controlled substance.
October 6
Deputy Holland, Deputy Whisenhunt, disturbance, Hwy. 80; caller advised landlord attempting to kick her out, landlord advised of eviction process.
Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Holland, suicidal subject, Holly Lake Ranch; located caller on ground with another male subject, advised his neighbor’s wife came to house stating husband chasing her with knife, male subject dealing with dementia, transported by EMS to receive treatment.
Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Rich,, Deputy Haley, suspicious circumstance, FM 515; someone following subject, trying to harm him, deputies located subject’s vehicle, had to put vehicle in park due to driver jumping out, acting excited, driver Justin King admitted using meth two hours prior, placed in custody for public intoxication.
Sgt. Williams, terroristic threat; victim and husband have had disputes in the past, provided video of husband making threats, offense report forwarded to criminal investigations.
October 7
Cpl. Rapp, possible fraud; caller believes male doing work for her mother who has dementia is taking advantage of her, asking for money, several neighbors on street also do not want subject doing work in area, caller advised she would tell subject to not come back.
Cpl. Rapp, structure fire; homeowner advised subject at residence when fire started, believes he may have started it, fire marshal notified.
Sgt. Williams, Deputy Smith, disturbance, CR 1994; subject’s mother called stating her husband who has dementia assaulted her, threatening her; suspect admitted striking wife, due to being a danger to others, transported by EMS to be evaluated.
Lt. Kovic, welfare concern, FM 1799; subject wanted mental help, went voluntarily with EMS to be evaluated.
October 8
Cpl. Rapp, Deputy Smith, disturbance, Holly Lake Ranch; caller tried to get items out of her house, husband would not let her, caller able to get some items and leave the residence.
Deputy Smith, Deputy Williams, agency assist, Holly Lake Ranch; subject causing problems in neighborhood, subject advised to file complaint if he had legitimate issues.
Sgt. Williams, Deputy Williams, terroristic threat, CR 3440; female approached victim with baseball bat, left scene, victim did not wish to pursue charges.
