Winnsboro Live returns Oct. 10 with Brian Chance, Jason Waldon and the Alibis
The Winnsboro Live concert series returns Saturday, Oct. 10, with an evening of Texas music at the Jack Cross Pavilion as part of Winnsboro’s monthlong Autumn Trails celebration.
Brian Chance will open the show, followed by headliner Jason Waldon and the Alibis. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., with music beginning at 7:30 p.m.
General admission tickets are $25, with premium reserved seating available.
Chance, a Texas country singer-songwriter from Jacksonville, blends outlaw country roots with a Southern rock edge. Jason Waldon and the Alibis will close out the night with a traditional Texas country sound.
Premium reserved seating starts at $45 and includes a front-row seat, reserved parking, a drink ticket and express entry. A four-seat option is also available for groups.
Food trucks will be on site, and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs. Outside coolers and alcohol are not permitted.
Presented by the city of Winnsboro, the concert is part of Autumn Trails, a monthlong festival organized each October by the Winnsboro Autumn Trails Association. Known as the “Home of the Autumn Trails,” Winnsboro hosts trail rides, parades, markets, live music and other activities throughout the month.
Vendor space for the concert is available through Oct. 2. Food, craft and market vendors interested in participating may contact Stacey Osborne at the Winnsboro Tourism Office at mainstreet@winnsborotexas.com.
The concert will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather or cancellation, updates will be posted on the Winnsboro Live Eventbrite page and the city of Winnsboro Facebook page.
“These concerts are about more than music — they give people a reason to spend a Saturday night in Winnsboro, and that’s a win for every shop and restaurant downtown. Brian Chance and Jason Waldon and the Alibis are going to close out the season in style. Grab a ticket, bring a chair, and come find your seat under the pavilion lights,” said Makenzie Lyons, Winnsboro economic development corporation director and city administrator.
