The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is planning the following construction and maintenance activities across the district during the weeks of July 27 and Aug. 3, 2026.
Work schedules are subject to change due to weather, equipment failures or other unforeseen circumstances. Motorists are urged to slow down, stay alert and use caution when traveling through work zones.
During the next two weeks, TxDOT crews will perform the following maintenance activities throughout Wood County:
• Edge repair at various locations across the county. Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures.
• Ditch maintenance on FM 14 between FM 2088 and SH 154. Lane closures will be in place, and flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.
• Overlay operations on FM 1448 and FM 115. Motorists should expect lane closures with flaggers controlling traffic.
