T/Spine Chiropractic and Rehabilitation relocates to Mineola

“We knew that we were coming to open the clinic in East Texas. That was always the goal, so our patients have always been the center of that. Before we even had patients, those patients were the center of everything,” said Brianna Teaff.
T/Spine Chiropractic and Rehabilitation has recently relocated to 344 NW Loop 564 Ste. 100 in Mineola from Quitman, fulfilling that vision.
Drs. Rowdy and Brianna Teaff began planning their practice while attending chiropractic school. After earning exercise science degrees from Hardin-Simmons University and graduating from Texas Chiropractic College in August 2023, the couple opened their practice the following month. The Teaffs said support from their patients helped them through the practice’s early years.
Although the practice has moved, T/Spine continues to emphasize a patient-centered approach to care. Rowdy Teaff said, “…it’s not me; it’s the body. I’m just using the science that we were taught, the biology that we were given, and the psychology behind all of it to help people into that space of whatever their goal is.”
Rowdy Teaff said the practice relocated after outgrowing its previous space.
Teaff said they found the new location within a week of beginning their search and signed a lease three weeks later.
Rowdy Teaff said growing up in East Texas helped shape both his personal and professional life. Rowdy Teaff recalled spending time in his youth playing football at Quitman High School and working for APEC, an athletic performance training center in Tyler.
“A lot of what I draw from is from those coaches and those people that poured into me... that was pivotal, pivotal in kind of just my professional development from there,” said Rowdy Teaff.
His experience in athletics, including collegiate football and recovering from injuries, helped inspire his interest in chiropractic care for athletes.
Rowdy Teaff said, “Working with athletes, I could do that 90 hours a week. Especially whenever they are like myself and are not the most athletic, and they are just really hard workers. They just have a dream.”
Brianna Teaff treats a wide range of patients, including athletes, children and animals. She said limited education about women’s health inspired her interest in perinatal care.
“It’s very common to have low back pain or sciatica, pelvic pain, round ligament pain, and most women are just told it’ll go away when you deliver. Well, what happens when you’re 16 weeks pregnant and you still have a long way to get to that 40 weeks? ... You can’t do X, Y, Z because of this pain, and there is another option that most women don’t even know about. So, that is what inspired me, is women’s health in general does not get a lot of attention, a lot of people that actually want to focus on women’s health,” said Brianna Teaff.
In addition to specializing in women’s perinatal care, Brianna Teaff supports pediatric patients and is additionally certified by the Animal Veterinary Chiropractic Association.
The practice offers evening appointments until 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, Saturday appointments, and accepts traditional Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Blue Cross Blue Shield commercial plans and personal injury protection (PIP) coverage for eligible automobile accident claims.
Rowdy Teaff referenced his personal experience in a car accident to explain why they accept accident PIP coverage.
Rowdy Teaff said, “Offering that and being able to be that provider for people too, it’s great. It’s awesome to be able to network with other providers that are medical specialists and with attorneys that have kind of the same vision for their clientele too, to make sure they’re getting back to where they were before the accident. It wasn’t their fault that that happened.”
T/Spine offers services beyond chiropractic manipulation, or adjustments, such as dry needling, manual therapy, nutritional consultation, and therapeutic exercise. The practice plans to expand its services in the future.
When patients are hesitant about chiropractic care or a particular treatment, Brianna Teaff said, “We’re directing the care with our expertise, but it’s about the patient. So if I think something would be the best, and you don’t necessarily want—aren’t interested in that therapy, that’s fine. We have other things we can do.”
The couple met the summer before their senior year of college and later opened the East Texas practice they had envisioned.
Brianna Teaff said, “I think that is just the cornerstone of our life, our business, our marriage, is being best friends, and so, being able to work together has just been such a joy.”
“We have been overwhelmed in the best way possible, that we have been well received, and that the community has supported us in our endeavors... so, to be able to have our dream come to life and everything come to fruition, and then also have the support of the community has meant the world to us,” Brianna Teaff said.
