Sharon Eaton 1947-2026

Sharon Eaton passed away peacefully at home in Mineola on Jan. 11, 2026 surrounded by family and friends.

Sharon grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Castleberry HighSchool Class of 1965 and attended Lon Morris College in Jacksonville. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler, where she sang in the choir. She worked and lived in the DFW Metroplex until moving to Mineola in 1999. She enjoyed painting, loved listening to the music of Neil Diamond, was an Elvis fan and avid watcher of her favorite programs.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Terry Eaton of 53 years; sister, Janie Thornton; daughters, Gina Todd and Jill Russell; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, special friends Henry and Debbie Lee, and many other friends and family.

Sharon’s Celebration of Life will include a visitation and viewing on Thursday, Jan. 22 from 6-8 p.m. and a service on Friday, Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola. Interment will be at Greenwood Mausoleum in Fort Worth Friday, Jan. 23 at 3 p.m.
