Jerry got adopted! Ryan Kennedy, Hollie Esquivel and baby Roman Kennedy were among the first people to show up to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office adoption day. They were excited to welcome Jerry into their home. The WCSO has about a dozen and a half dogs available for adoption. They do not charge an adoption fee and only require that you have your new family member spayed or neutered. Contact the WCSO to arrange a time to visit and adopt your new best friend.

If you’re interested in volunteering or would like to received food (no eligibility requirements, paperwork or ID required), the next distribution date is July 30 at the Mineola High School Yellow Jacket Footballl Stadium parking lot or you can check out the distribution at Quitman High School’s Bud Moody Stadium parking lot on July 15.
