The Quitman Police Department answered 419 calls for service between Sept. 1-29, issued 104 traffic citations, gave 284 traffic warnings, took 17 reports and made two on-site arrests and four warrant arrests.
September 7
Officer Mythigel Al-Flaih arrested Joseph Coventry for assault against elderly or disabled individual family violence.
September 14
Sgt. John Cooper arrested Tony Quinn for injury to child/elderly/disabled with intent of bodily injury family violence.
September 20
Cpl. Joseph Gatewood arrested Amanda Sullivan for two outstanding warrants for burglary of habitation and tampering with evidence.
Cpl. Gatewood arrested Christopher Winkle for two outstanding warrants for parole violations.
