Monitor office closing Dec. 24-26, no edition Jan. 1
The Wood County Monitor will be closed Dec. 24-26, and no edition will be published Jan. 1, 2026.
The Dec. 25 edition will be published one day early to accommodate the Christmas holiday postal schedule. Subscribers in Wood County should receive their newspaper on Wednesday, Dec. 24.
All news and advertising must be received no later than noon on Friday, Dec. 19.
Any items received after that deadline will be published in the Jan. 8, 2026 edition.
Email and phone messages will be monitored as much as possible while the office is closed.
Local candidates for the March party primaries must submit their announcements no later than Friday, Jan. 9.
