Mineola Police Report
June 13
12:24 a.m., traffic stop/arrest, 2200 N. Pacific, vehicle failed to yield during traffic stop, DWI investigation conducted, driver transported to UT Health for consensual blood draw and then to Wood County Sheriff’s Office.
3:59 a.m., disturbance, McCorder Street, report of irate 20-year-old male damaging walls inside residence, family member arranged transportation for one party, situation resolved.
4:30 a.m., welfare concern, 1900 Old Tyler Highway, report of two juvenile males riding scooters in roadway, unable to locate.
10:58 a.m., found property, W. Broad Street, caller reported finding a wallet, wallet returned to owner.
11:56 a.m., welfare concern, University Street, welfare check requested on employee who had not reported to work or responded to calls, residence appeared vacant and occupants believed to have moved.
1:18 p.m., motor vehicle accident, N. Pacific and Meadowbrook, vehicle struck utility pole, power lines down across roadway and vehicle, fire department, EMS and utility company responded, case report filed, roadway cleared.
3:58 p.m., disturbance, Isabella Street, dispute between neighbors escalated after complaints of photographs being taken, one subject arrested and transported to Wood County Jail.
8:52 p.m., motor vehicle accident, N. Newsom Street, minor accident, information exchanged between involved parties.
9:18 p.m., public assist, NE Loop 564, report of attempted vehicle repossession, tow operator did not have required paperwork, vehicle was not towed.
10:30 p.m., welfare concern, N. Johnson Street, caller requested welfare check after receiving text messages from daughter regarding argument involving intoxicated adults, child found safe, mother determined to be heavily intoxicated.
June 14
10:04 a.m., inquest, Second Street, report of deceased male at residence, EMS and justice of the peace notified, funeral home contacted, transport completed.
12:59 p.m., reckless driver, NW Loop 564 and Greenville Avenue, report of black Lexus SUV unable to maintain lane and driving erratically, officer observed no violations.
3:56 p.m., theft, E. Broad Street, caller requested theft report, advised to contact police if subject returned so criminal trespass warning could be issued.
4:34 p.m., motorist assist, NE Loop 564, disabled motorist assisted while awaiting help, roadway cleared.
7:06 p.m., welfare concern, McWhorter Street, welfare check requested on subject believed to be living outside the area, caller advised to contact appropriate jurisdiction.
June 15
4:06 a.m., welfare concern, W. McDonald Street, caller reported concern for children taken by father, Wood County Sheriff’s Office assisted, children located and found safe.
7 p.m., welfare concern, Robin Street, caller requested welfare check on father after being unable to contact him, subject located and found to be okay.
6:26 p.m., criminal trespass warning, E. Broad Street, business employee requested warning be issued to ex-husband for repeated disturbances, subject notified by phone.
6:31 p.m., ordinance violation, Sioux Street, report of door-to-door solicitation without permit, subject contacted and advised permit was required before leaving area.
June 16
11:24 a.m., theft, 1000 S. Pacific Street, report of stolen wallet and unauthorized credit card use, case report filed.
1:56 p.m., assist other agency, Hwy. 69 and Loop 564, assisted county deputies with minor traffic accident until county units arrived.
2:12 p.m., information only, Peachtree Street, caller requested information regarding police escort for eviction, officer explained eviction procedures.
2:14 p.m., information only, Mimosa Street, medical facility reported incident between patients resulting in minor injury, no charges requested.
7:36 p.m., information only, police department lobby, caller requested assistance regarding child custody dispute, child found safe and welfare confirmed.
8:01 p.m., welfare concern, N. Newsom Street, welfare check requested on elderly father after loss of contact, subject located and advised he had changed phone numbers.
9:18 p.m., disturbance, Second Street, report of domestic disturbance, citations issued and paraphernalia located, case report filed.
June 17
6:16 a.m., civil matter, W. Kilpatrick Street, caller concerned neighbor’s tree could fall onto residence, advised issue would be handled through insurance if damage occurred.
10:36 a.m., welfare concern, N. Pacific Street, report of female acting strangely, determined she was speaking on phone while wearing earbuds and waiting for transportation.
10:47 a.m., criminal mischief, W. Broad Street, report of broken windows at vacant residence, directed patrol requested, incident report filed.
4:05 p.m., welfare concern, Giraud Street, confusing 911 call prompted welfare check, subject contacted and stated no assistance was needed.
5:14 p.m., disturbance, E. Front Street, report of disorderly female at train depot, one subject arrested and transported to Wood County Jail.
5:44 p.m., civil matter, W. McDonald Street, caller requested assistance regarding child custody and medication dispute, advised to contact an attorney.
6:05 p.m., reckless driver, S. Pacific Street and city limits, report of speeding Mustang traveling southbound, unable to locate.
June 18
8:22 a.m., internet crimes investigation, W. Patten Street, case report filed.
2:12 p.m., criminal mischief, Graham Street, report of possible gunshot damage to residence, determined to have been caused accidentally by juvenile using pellet gun, no charges requested.
2:54 p.m., assist other agency, W. Kilpatrick Street, assisted fire department and EMS.
3:33 p.m., assist other agency, Hwy. 37 and CR 2307, assisted with two-vehicle accident involving possible injuries, scene left with EMS, fire department and DPS.
6 p.m., reckless driver, W. Broad Street and city limits, report of semi-truck unable to maintain lane, unable to locate.
7:13 p.m., theft, Freeman Street, report of daughter taking vehicle without permission, caller declined to pursue charges.
9:36 p.m., welfare concern, W. McDonald Street, caller requested welfare check on sister following relationship issues, unable to make contact with subject.
June 19
12:24 a.m., assist other agency, CR 2223, assisted EMS with cardiac arrest call, patient transported to Tyler.
6:10 a.m., information only, McDonald Street, outside agency advised officers of surveillance activity in the area.
10:24 a.m., assault, Peachtree Street, caller reported being pushed and slapped during eviction dispute, declined to pursue charges.
10:45 a.m., welfare concern, N. Pacific Street, report of bubbling utility cover in parking lot, determined to be water.
11:16 a.m., public assist, Brenda Lane, officer assisted resident locked out of residence.
11:20 a.m., theft, Line Street, report of suspected copper theft from vacant residence, nothing confirmed stolen, directed patrol requested.
5:19 p.m., burglary, N. Pacific Street, report of burglary, case report filed.
6:08 p.m., civil matter, Belcher Street, dispute regarding overnight guest at residence, parties advised matter was civil in nature.
7:39 p.m., motorist assist, 1100 blk W. Broad Street, officer assisted disabled vehicle and changed tire.
10:20 p.m., information only, 500 blk Ivy Street, caller reported lost bag and clothing, requested notification if property was located.
10:41 p.m., assault, 205 Isabella Street, assault reported, case report filed.
10:44 p.m., trespassing, Isabella Street, trespassing complaint received, case report filed.
10:52 p.m., welfare concern, 100 blk Cage Street, welfare check requested on motorist with disabled vehicle, driver waiting for assistance due to battery issues.
