Feb. 28
1:10 a.m., city ordinance violation, N Pacific; neighbor’s party caused noise complaint, unable to locate.
11:33 a.m., public assist, 300 Greenville; subject wanted to talk to officer about registered sex offender, referred to Wood County Sheriff’s Office.
11:37 a.m., escort, E Broad/S Pacific; funeral escort, completed.
11:45 a.m., escort, NE Loop 564/N Pacific; escort, completed.
1:40 p.m., disturbance, N Pacific; grandson at location to pick up furniture, verbal altercation ensued with aunt, who wished to have him trespassed, parties separated.
3:37 p.m., information, N Hwy 69; subject said saw on Facebook that grain silo stolen by white pickup, passed truck pulling a silo, Wood County Sheriff’s Office said they have not had anything reported stolen, unable to locate.
3:42 p.m., disturbance, NE Loop 564; disturbance in car, officers searched area, unable to locate.
8:21 p.m., information, NE Loop 564; more than 100 sports motor bikes in parking lot, Wood County Sheriff’s Office on location, have permission from management to be there.
9:22 p.m., reckless driver, N Pacific; subject said motorcycles passing in front of house for over hour, being reckless, dispatch explained motorcyclists had meeting, leaving town, officer said convoy respectful, driving fine.
11:51 p.m., assist other agency, S Pacific/city limit; someone hit deer.
March 1
10:47 a.m., suspicious person, Cheek/Walnut; man laying in grass, homeless, taking nap, all well.
12:42 p.m., motorist assist, W Broad; pine tree across roadway, TxDOT contacted, roadway cleared.
2:28 p.m., disturbance, Baker; loud music, unable to locate.
2:49 p.m., reckless driver, N Pacific/Greenville; vehicle unable to maintain lane, unable to locate.
4:25 p.m., city ordinance violation, W Front; vehicle playing loud music, vehicle parked at residence, unoccupied.
10:33 p.m., vehicle stop, E Kilpatrick; probably cause search, contraband found, standard field sobriety test performed, no intoxication, Alexander Williams arrested for possession of marijuana less than two ounces. Parcellia Ann Cantrell wanted by Wood County Sheriff’s Office for assault causes bodily injury, arrested, Wood County Sheriff’s Office notified.
10:33 p.m., public assist, Goodson; subject said needs someone to look at activated smoke alarm, no fire, officer said low battery, unable to change, subject will contact landlord in the morning.
March 2
6:05 a.m., welfare concern, N Pacific; subject spoke with homeless man hauling wagon, who asked him what he would do if someone killed him, turned him into a robot, and killed his family; subject requested welfare check on homeless man. Officer said all well, did not observe violations.
9:38 a.m., information, Meredith; referral of a child, officer at Mineola ISD will follow up with parents and child, nothing further.
9:45 a.m., terroristic threat, W Broad; employee received threatening message, referred to Smith Co. Sheriff’s Office, where subject lives.
12:00 p.m., welfare concern, Nancy; 911 open line, all well, accidental dial.
1:19 p.m., public assist, Robin; truck revving engine in early morning hours, no contact made, officer will pass information to night shift.
2:45 p.m., assist other agency, E Broad; possible gas leak, gas company on scene.
3:20 p.m., found property, E Blair/Graham; phone found, case report filed.
3:31 p.m., found property, W Broad; card given to customer by accident, case report filed.
5:38 p.m., reckless driver, N Pacific; subject said vehicles speeding, unable to locate.
7:38 p.m., drug offense, FM 1801/NE Loop 564; drug offense related to Feb. 17, 8:23 p.m. case, case report filed.
8:36 p.m., theft, FM 1254; Mineola Youth Foundation theft of wire, directed patrol will be issued, case report filed. Case report also filed for criminal mischief charge.
March 3
1:12 a.m., assist other agency, NW Loop 564/N Hwy 69; assist Wood County Sheriff’s Office conducting traffic stop, all well.
1:49 a.m., assist other agency, NE Loop 564; assist Wood County Sheriff’s office, all well.
7:00 a.m., suspicious person, N Newsom; subject said person with wagon laying on front porch of empty house, left.
9:31 a.m., warrant service, W Patten; juvenile detained, evidence of other crime found on juvenile, left with juvenile probation.
10:18 a.m., public assist, N Newsom; subject locked keys in vehicle, asked for help getting spare set, officer took subject back to residence for second time, subject would have friend take back to vehicle.
11:06 a.m., burglary, S Pacific; juvenile from 9:31 a.m. case took money out of vehicle, property released to owner, case report filed.
1:09 p.m., assist other agency, E Commerce; assist Wood County Sheriff’s Office with traffic stop, assistance no longer needed.
3:56 p.m., suspicious person, Debby; subject possibly looking in windows with telescope, actually testing new camera system, no offense.
4:45 p.m., motor vehicle accident, E Commerce; when subject came out to vehicle, saw someone hit it, case report filed.
5:20 p.m., information, W Kilpatrick; subject wanted to speak to officer about mail he got from jail, no offense.
5:49 p.m., assist other agency, Bromberg; landing zone, EMS on scene.
7:00 p.m., motorist assist, W Broad; unoccupied vehicle, subject contacted tow service.
8:45 p.m., sexual assault, N Line; subject said has child in ER for assault from someone she knows, 211 contacted, case report filed.
March 4
1:17 a.m., assist other agency, Goodson; subject said two fire alarms going off, no visible smoke or fire, false alarm.
7:36 a.m., animal control, SE Loop 564; subject said while driving saw bald eagle, turned around to look at it, saw tractor-trailer hit the bird, eagle dead on roadway; deceased eagle removed from roadway, Game Warden contacted.
8:48 a.m., civil matter, E Broad; boat found parked on subject’s property, subject will have vehicle towed.
10:10 a.m., information, W Patten; subject thinks someone accessing accounts, subject allowed daughter to take phone over to dad’s house for visitation, subject wanted phone back, dad said he had no problem giving phone back but wouldn’t go out of the way, grandma picked up phone, signed for it.
10:36 a.m., found property, FM 779, Golden; wallet found, case report filed.
12:01 p.m., information, Francis; suspicious activity in area, house had been vacant, furniture moved, neighbor said two subjects moved a couch, items neatly stacked, paint buckets present, possibly renovation.
12:30 p.m., reckless driver, N Pacific/Greenville; vehicle unable to maintain lane, driver not impaired, vehicle has low tire, is parked, nothing further.
3:14 p.m., public assist, N Johnson; debris in road cleared.
4:23 p.m., information, 300 Greenville; subject thinks someone following her, stems from hit-and-run incident, subject believes she knows suspect, directed patrol requested for subject’s residence.
4:35 p.m., found property, 300 Greenville; subject found dollar bill in the parking lot.
5:12 p.m., welfare concern, W Broad; caller said client in shop clearly on something, about to leave, subject intercepted, no impairment, call notes say subject not acting rational about why a call was made to law enforcement, unable to see a point of view other than her own; subject’s car speeding, almost caused accident; subject back at business, causing disturbance, had to be given multiple orders to leave, sent threatening text messages, original caller told to tell subject no longer desired contact, criminal trespass warning requested, directed patrol will be issued.
6:09 p.m., assist other agency, N Hwy 69/FM 779; two-vehicle accident, entrapment and vehicles on fire.
9:24 p.m., suspicious person, Goodson; vehicle parked with two people sitting inside, unable to locate.
9:38 p.m., information, W Buchanan; wallet from 10:36 a.m. case will be picked up next day.
March 5
11:45 a.m., found property, 300 Greenville; dollar bill found near dumpster, case report filed.
12:38 p.m., assault, S Pacific; two separate aggravated assault charges related to Feb. 17, 8:23 p.m. incident, case reports filed.
1:07 p.m., assist other agency, W Patten; assist EMS with combative patient, patient went willingly with EMS.
1:12 p.m., civil matter, N Newsom; items given to daughter, subject said she sold it, not hers to sell, daughter given two cabinets three years ago, one given away, memory problems involved, civil issue, no charges can be filed.
1:57 p.m., reckless driver, E Loop 564/FM 49; vehicle unable to maintain lane, unable to locate.
2:19 p.m., found property, N Pacific; wallet found, claimed at 5:13 p.m.
6:32 p.m., city ordinance violation, N Newsom; subject said loud music shaking windows, subject asked to turn down, turned up instead, unable to locate.
6:55 p.m., harassment, NW Loop 564; subject said handyman taking liking to daughter, went to girl’s work several times, hit on her, sits in lobby and stares at her, out on bond for assault family violence, worried about daughter; criminal trespass issued.
7:11 p.m., welfare concern, S Pacific/city limit, vehicle unable to maintain lane.
March 6
12:24 a.m., information, S Pacific; officer at location per information regarding wanted subject, all well.
12:53 a.m., assault, Walnut; subject said suspect kicked door in, subject took firearm from suspect, was hit, requested EMS; suspect possibly intoxicated, Wood County Sheriff’s Office contacted for information on subject, Criminal Investigation Department en route, case report filed.
6:07 a.m., information, Walnut; endangered child related to 12:53 a.m. case, case report filed.
8:25 a.m., assault, Walnut; aggravated assault with a deadly weapon related to 12:53 a.m. case, case report filed.
9:04 a.m., information, 300 Greenville; follow-up on hit-and-run from March 3, 4:45 p.m. case.
12:35 p.m., motor vehicle accident, N Pacific/Greenville; hit-and-run, verbal altercation in the parking lot, parties separated, case forwarded to Criminal Investigation Department, case report filed.
3:06 p.m., public assist, Wigley/Ivey; kids playing with loose guy wire on electric pole, subject worried could hit power line and shock kids, SWEPCO contacted, ticket number created, no kids observed playing in area.
7:10 p.m., trespassing, N Pacific; subject said someone at house, criminal trespass for person at location, listed as N Newsom and not N Pacific, criminal trespass issued for correct location, directed patrol issued for location.
9:54 p.m., motorist assist, S Pacific; debris in road cleared.
10:04 p.m., disturbance, Greenville; subject said truck speeding, asked driver to slow down, driver pulled out gun, threatened subject; teenagers in roadway. Wood County Sheriff’s Office contacted, situation a misunderstanding, no offense.
Officers also made 84 traffic stops, 7 animal control calls, and 3 alarm calls.
