Feb. 7
3:11 a.m., N Pacific, suspicious person/vehicle; subject said heard crying, no distress heard by officer, all well.
3:40 a.m., assist other agency, CR 2430; fully engulfed structure fire at CR 2430/CR 2431.
8:28 a.m., welfare concern, N Newsom; subject can’t reach something, has health problems, in hospital, all well.
8:56 a.m., reckless driver, N Hwy 69/city limit; car speeding, unable to locate.
10:59 a.m., theft, Baker; subject loaded pallet of caller’s material on top of, inside vehicle, left, unable to locate. Caller said misunderstanding, subject sold scrap metal, not stolen.
1:28 p.m., escort, N Pacific/E Broad; funeral escort.
1:42 p.m., city ordinance violation, N Johnson; someone burning, meat smoker, all well.
2:01 p.m., assist other agency, N Pacific; water flowing in roadway, person across street washing parking lot, all well.
2:10 p.m., assist other agency, W Broad/Graves; with trooper at traffic stop.
2:50 p.m., public assist, S Pacific/E Commerce; crossing gates down, traffic backed up, Union Pacific distance away, fire department helped control traffic, road cleared.
3:25 p.m., reckless driver, N Hwy 37/city limit; truck unable to maintain lane, hit guard rail, stuff fell on vehicle floor, subject trying to pick it up, no signs of impairment.
6:21 p.m., reckless driver, Old Tyler Hwy; subject stopped to check mail while car behind, car swerved around, proceeded to speed up and down road while revving engine, unable to locate.
7:47 p.m., suspicious vehicle, E Blair; car driving around slowly, subject said can smell marijuana, unable to locate.
9:22 p.m., motorist assist, S Pacific; car clearing debris from road, removed.
9:34 p.m., motorist assist, E Buchanan/N Newsom; disabled motorcycle, driver close to home, will push.
9:38 p.m., vehicle stop, N Pacific; consent search on vehicle stop, no contraband found.
Feb. 8
12:05 a.m., vehicle stop, S Pacific/S Loop 564; vehicle occupant gave name Kimberlie Mauser, Kimberlie Mouser, no record found. Vehicle occupant Meagan Hudson said she had marijuana, contraband located, two subjects arrested, “Mouser” subject gave false information, real name Carmen Pickle, Hopkins County warrant found. Meagan Hudson arrested for possession of marijuana, hindering apprehension or prosecution; Carmen Pickle arrested for possession of controlled substance, failure to identify.
10:31 a.m., welfare concern, S Johnson; subject has not heard from dad, who has health issues, since last Monday, all well.
10:47 a.m., vehicle stop, N Pacific; subject wanted on Mineola warrant for unpaid class C violation, just released from hospital, officer provided subject with court form for warrant, subject released.
12:02 p.m., assault, N Newsom; subject’s child’s father held down, assaulted subject, case report filed.
1:23 p.m., suspicious person, E Front; subject yelling at kids at park, trying to get to cross tracks and come to vehicle; subject said yelling at child to get off tracks, caller said his child was close to tracks, nothing further, no offense.
2:41 p.m., city ordinance violation, Turman; burning without permit, homeowner had just returned home, no smoke, unable to locate.
2:43 p.m., disturbance, Wigley/Ivey; subject yelling, swinging potential sledgehammer near duplexes, yelling stopped, no altercation took place.
4:36 p.m., criminal mischief, N Johnson; someone took chain off subject’s four-wheeler, officer will issue directed patrol for residence.
Feb. 9
9:25 a.m., welfare concern, W Blair; 911 hangup, all well.
9:34 a.m., information, McWhorter; subject wants to make report of daughter’s bus driver coming by her home to “check” on her daughter two hours after school lets out; subject said driver has come back for second time also, and that her daughter is scared of driver, who is also a grade teacher. Subject has met with school administrators and bus barn personnel. Officer will fill in call notes, case report filed.
10:52 a.m., assist other agency, N Newsom; assist EMS and fire department with medical call, patient transferred to Lindale.
11:43 a.m., public assist, Graham; subject wants to speak with officer about laws on loud music, spoke with officer.
3:43 p.m., motor vehicle accident, N Pacific; minor accident, case report filed.
6:32 p.m., theft, McDaniel; subject said he thinks cousin broke into his house, unsure if anything taken, no charges wished, directed patrol will be issued.
8:02 p.m., welfare concern, E Front; subject got off train, waiting for ride from Hawkins that never came after several hours, contact made with ride, said subject told not to come, could not stay with her, subject will get train ticket back home tomorrow, taken to E Broad St.
9:06 p.m., disturbance, 300 Greenville; subject followed person to police department making threats for person’s allegedly abusing his son, person said he never hit son, no offense, parties separated.
10:46 p.m., disturbance, Goodson; subject and brother fighting, no weapons, parties separated.
11:10 p.m., subject stop, N Pacific/Nancy; subject on bicycle with no lights.
Feb. 10
8:12 a.m., theft, Country Club Drive; items, trailer, fencing material taken from vacant home, case report filed.
8:55 a.m., found property, N Johnson; wallet found, owner retrieved from police.
2:15 p.m., subject stop, N Pacific; Cameron Shawn Bailey arrested on Smith County warrant.
3:02 p.m., reckless driver, W Broad; reckless driver, unable to locate.
3:13 p.m., assist other agency, Ivey; assist fire department and EMS with patient, subject left in their care.
4:51 p.m., welfare concern, E Broad; subject said trying to find out if person from Feb. 9, 8:02 p.m. case still at location, wanted officers to check.
5:14 p.m., runaway, W Patten; subject’s juvenile son had appointment. Son ran into woods. Fire paged, Wood County Sheriff’s Office brought in thermal imaging drone, EMS contacted, Air One helicopter contacted, en route, subject sent recent picture of son to officers, drone from Van Zandt County en route, subject entered into National Crime Information Center (NCIC)/Texas Crime Information Center (TCIC), Smith County Canine unit en route, Smith County Sheriff’s Office on scene, Game Wardens on scene, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children case opened, later closed for found juvenile, 911 callers said juvenile running down W Loop 564, officer detained juvenile, EMS on scene, juvenile taken to police department, taken out of NCIC/TCIC, juvenile probation contacted, juvenile released to Wood County Sheriff’s Office, case report filed.
6:08 p.m., motor vehicle accident, E Broad; subject said vehicle hit-and-run, all units out on missing juvenile, officer would come to residence to take report, case report filed.
10:11 p.m., information, 300 Greenville; subject had question about friend in bad relationship, will be contacted.
11:26 p.m., disturbance, Lowe; two subjects fighting, separated.
11:44 p.m., suspicious person, S Stone; when subject saw caller, started running away, unable to locate.
Feb. 11
11:59 a.m., warrant, NE Loop 564; subject said two people in store have warrants, one wanted for assault, officer walked store, searched parking lot for vehicle matching description, unable to locate.
1:36 p.m., found property, E McDonald; packages left on porch, wrong address, packages given to correct owner.
3:07 p.m., information, 300 Greenville; question about knives for juveniles, answered.
5:01 p.m., welfare concern, NE Loop 564; subject said very young children in vehicle, little girl in front seat, vehicle running, no violations observed.
5:35 p.m., suspicious person, W Broad; subject carrying backpack keeps coming into store at specific time, officer will issue directed patrol.
7:33 p.m., public assist, N Newsom; subject wants to speak with officer about possible deactivated grenade, reproduction, harmless, no blasting cap.
9:29 p.m., public assist, Autumn Wind; subject said light on on stove, not sure how to turn off, afraid to go to bed with light on, officer got stove light off, all well.
Feb. 12
7:21 a.m., animal control, Pat; as written in the police report, “Report of a goose that exists.” Goose flew away, animal control officer talked with subject.
11:05 a.m., information, Brenda; car repossessed.
11:10 a.m., motor vehicle accident, N Pacific; hit-and-run in parking lot, case report filed.
12:19 p.m., theft, NE Loop 564; delay entry 911 call, employee car stolen, key in car, Sheriff’s Office contacted, stopped at south Quitman city limits, tower contacted, DPS taking case.
2:09 p.m., motor vehicle accident, NE Loop 564; vehicle vs. woman on scooter, EMS contacted, transported to hospital, case report filed.
2:31 p.m., injury to a child, N Johnson; child abuse case.
2:42 p.m., information, N Pacific; cars speeding, etc., officer will be watching area.
3:29 p.m., assist other agency, W Loop 564; A/C unit on fire, fire paged, fire put out.
3:34 p.m., public assist, NW Loop 564/city limit; stranded motorist, Wood County Sheriff’s Office contacted.
5:21 p.m., welfare concern, N Pacific; employee sending messages to neighbor about harming himself due to wife not wanting him to come home, all well.
6:21 p.m., reckless driver, N Pacific; car unable to maintain lane, unable to locate.
6:26 p.m., civil matter, N Johnson; lady yelling in yard, no offense.
10:08 p.m., suspicious person, W Kilpatrick; subject said she feels life in danger, van following, EMS contacted, subject denied, does not want any service, paranoid, no reason to believe complaints legitimate.
Feb. 13
5:23 a.m., suspicious person, Mimosa/Peachtree; commercial vehicle parked in lane, hazard lights on, all well, building pole.
9:05 a.m., harassment, N Pacific; subject reported being harassed by husband over phone, has filed report with Wood County Sheriff’s Office, but due to subject’s workplace, was advised to file with police as well, case report filed.
9:57 a.m., terroristic threat, N Pacific; subject receiving threatening messages while at work, suspect is husband, case report filed.
12:01 p.m., motor vehicle accident, NE Loop 564; vehicle rolled into subject, no one in it, information exchanged.
2:14 p.m., public assist, Greenville/N Pacific; assist with traffic while tower loads broken-down vehicle.
6:02 p.m., unsecured area, N Newsom; door to business open, building clear, secured.
8:20 p.m., assist other agency, N Pacific; smoke alarm, fire paged, alarm, fire canceled.
8:38 p.m., reckless driver, Mimosa; motorcycles racing, officer said would keep eye out.
9:34 p.m., theft, S Johnson; subject owns property across from location, says someone stealing fence from property, showed pictures that only show trees, unable to locate.
11:51 p.m., vehicle stop, NE Loop 564; standard field sobriety tests performed, open container in vehicle, Jackson Earl Coleman arrested for unlawful carrying of a weapon, driving while intoxicated.
Officers also made 96 traffic stops, 11 animal control stops, and two alarm stops.
