12:47 a.m., suspicious vehicle, W Front; non-local vehicle at park after closing, search conducted, no contraband located, Wood County Sheriff’s Office, Lindale PD will not take subject, passenger and driver switched, nothing further.

9:54 a.m., welfare concern, N Newsom; woman upset, said was in “nightmare,” husband transported to Tyler for head injury; no record located by EMS, woman told officers she’s fine.

11:12 a.m., harassment, English; neighbor driving by subject’s free garage sale, honking loud train horn, subject unhappy with how situation handled by PD. Officers said no offense committed, told neighbor to stop.

1:03 p.m., found property, N Pacific; beer cans, phone in restroom, property retrieved before officer arrived.

1:05 p.m., information, W McDonald; package delivered to neighbor’s house, but subject and neighbor have criminal trespass on one another, subject requested officer retrieve package. Subject told to contact original delivery service.

1:47 p.m., information, N Johnson; car repossessed.

1:55 p.m., criminal mischief, NE Loop 564; truck hit in parking lot, vehicle fixed, video unavailable, no report made.

2:45 p.m., information, Second; car repossessed.

2:56 p.m., information, 300 Greenville; subject asked about laws regarding driving while on phone, wants officers to watch YouTube video.

3:13 p.m., trespassing, Country Club; people from garage sale across street parking on subject’s property, no one on or near property at officer’s arrival. Subject found energy drink can thrown on property, got license plate, wanted to throw can back onto garage sale property, officer took can to throw away.

3:19 p.m., harassment, English; neighbor sitting across from subject’s property filming, subject feels threatened. Neighbor’s recording legal.

3:47 p.m., disturbance, English; someone yelling at subject’s husband, getting heated, gun pointed at him

4:47 p.m., motor vehicle accident, N Pacific; three-vehicle accident, one injury, southbound lane closed, two people transported by EMS

8:53 p.m., suspicious person, N Pacific; teenager jumping into traffic, unable to locate

3:17 a.m., assist other agency, N Newsom; Wood County Sheriff’s Office with juvenile who needs to be released to guardian, guardian given deputy’s work number, call will be made

4:39 a.m., suspicious person, Greenville; subject walking with flashlight, looking in businesses, said lost something, trying to find it, all well

3:56 a.m., suspicious person, NE Loop 564; subject in front of store pulling wagon. Subject waiting for business to open, report says “heading to Sulphur Springs to Carthage,” currently walking.

10:35 a.m., assist other agency, Freeman/Wells; dozer hit gas line on empty lot, CenterPoint Energy contacted and on scene.

12:43 p.m., assault, W Kilpatrick; subject said was assaulted, requested EMS, EMS on scene.

1:28 p.m., assist other agency, Maxine; woman transported to hospital.

1:36 p.m., information, E Broad; subject letting homeless man with wagon stay in building overnight.

2:16 p.m., fraud, N Newsom; someone called subject, said owed fines, would come to residence. Subject called PD, was told to stop all communication with original caller.

2:34 p.m., disturbance, W Broad; subject yelling at restaurant staff over piece of dry chicken, said would not pay food bill, all well

4:38 p.m., information, N Pacific; subject reported stolen wallet on Jan. 11, attendant knew where it was, got it out of trash can; subject said money, driver’s license missing. Information forwarded to criminal investigation department.

Jan. 23

12:15 a.m., vehicle stop, E Commerce/S Pacific; subject believed was in Tyler, Tyler PD had no contact with subject since 2024, not entered as missing. EMS contacted for possible altered mental state, standard field sobriety test conducted, EMS had no medical concerns, gave directions back to Tyler. Unable to make contact with emergency contact.

11:30 a.m., warrant service, Goodson; welfare concern became warrant service, subject, family have not talked to sister since last year, Kesha Jenean Smith arrested for Dallas County warrant for DWI 3rd or more

12:47 p.m., warrant service, W Kilpatrick; Smith County drug warrant at grandmother’s house, house empty, neighbors say she passed away

1:13 p.m., warrant service, N Pacific; Candiss Renee Bryant arrested on active warrants for three counts of theft of property greater than or equal to $100 but less than $750

12:19 a.m., suspicious vehicle, Greenville; vehicle door open, all well.

2:12 a.m., welfare concern, Dubose; subject’s friend said someone he’s with won’t take him home, limited information given, subject would not give location, said she believes friend in danger; no location, vehicle description, or other information for friend, nothing further.

3:26 a.m., welfare concern, N Line; subject from 2:12 a.m. case called 911 twice regarding case with no new information, said she feels in danger, heard noises inside house, requested officer, officer said no sounds heard, subject will find somewhere else to stay overnight.

6:12 p.m., assist other agency, CR 2724; Wood County Sheriff’s Office said disabled vehicle, driver just sitting in vehicle, not broken down, all well.

6:31 p.m., motorist assist, NE Loop 564; vehicle having trouble defrosting windows, defroster doesn’t work, driver will attempt to fix.

Jan. 25

3:03 a.m., public assist, E McDonald; subject had no power, concerned about cold weather triggering problem, checking for warming center, no answer, PD offered to let subject stay in lobby, officer went back to residence for subject’s medication.

11:07 a.m., criminal mischief, NE Loop 564; truck doing donuts in parking lot with something chained to back, other trucks also doing donuts, unable to locate.

11:23 a.m., criminal mischief, N Newsom; subject said someone contacted her about 5 trucks doing donuts.

12:23 p.m., criminal mischief, N Pacific; truck doing donuts, officer followed truck, no offense.

4:22 p.m., reckless driver, N Johnson/Good; vehicle pulling kids on sled.

4:33 p.m., reckless driver, Meadowbrook/Martha; truck pulling kids in plastic tub with chain, when officer arrived, truck not pulling kids.

5:25 p.m., reckless driver, N Johnson; four-wheelers racing up and down street, unable to locate.

Jan. 26

9:43 a.m., theft, W Broad; subject’s son accidentally put money in bank tube when leaving Jan. 16, went back, money missing, case report filed.

1:59 p.m., information, 300 Greenville; subject sold, moved RV 8 months ago, buyers coming by subject, subject’s parent’s houses, told to contact sheriff’s office or justice of the peace.

2:10 p.m., motorist assist, W Patten; disabled vehicle moved to where owner lives.

8:06 p.m., trespassing, N Newsom; drivers stealing stuff, subject wants criminal trespass warning given, issued.

Jan. 27

1:14 p.m., found property, W Front/Stone; subject said someone gave him object, thinks it may have been stolen, case report filed.

5:59 p.m., reckless driver, N Pacific/city limit; vehicle unable to maintain lane, unable to locate.

6:29 p.m., suspicious person, Bluebird; two subjects going door to door, with church organization, no offense.

7:07 p.m., subject stop, W Blair/Second; subject gave consent to search, no contraband found.

8:16 p.m., assist other agency, S Johnson; toddler climbed onto chair and drank substance that had been out of reach, transported to UT Quitman.

11:03 p.m., suspicious vehicle, Brett; vehicle in ditch, subjects at front door, vehicle pulled out of ditch.

3:41 a.m., motorist assist, NW Loop 564/N Hwy 69; stalled vehicle in roadway, no lights on, flat front tire, towed.

10:25 a.m., motorist assist, S Pacific; 18-wheeler blocking roadway, cleared.

10:32 a.m., welfare concern, W Patten/W Loop 564; Crash detected on phone, vehicle spun on ice, driver corrected, no damages.

1:30 p.m., information, W Blair; officer flagged down, subject had questions about political signs, information given.

4:00 p.m., theft, NE Loop 564; subject said someone took basket of merchandise from store, left in unknown direction, case report filed.

10:16 p.m., welfare concern, N Pacific; vehicle has something underneath sparking, dragging chain, secured.

12:34 a.m., welfare concern, E Broad/E Loop 564; trooper did traffic stop, asked driver to remain until someone could pick him up, asked officers to make sure driver warm and okay, unable to locate.

6:26 a.m., information, CR 2223; lost pug, noted.

5:20 a.m., information, 300 Greenville; subject texted 911 needing somewhere to sleep, no emergency, subject given phone number for non-emergency calls.

10:01 a.m., welfare concern, Sycamore; subject hasn’t seen neighbor since before ice storm, no contact made.

11:01 a.m., welfare concern, CR 2724; two people walking into outdoor toilet, no one inside at officer’s arrival.

1:26 p.m., theft, N Pacific; subject is manager, said someone stole shakes, protein powders, caught on camera, case report filed.

2:36 p.m., public assist, Greenville; woman locked keys in car, car unlocked.

3:50 p.m., information, N Pacific; subject said right after using card at gas station, scam purchases appeared on card; officer went to gas station and informed clerk, who will take it to management. Body cam docked at station.

4:02 p.m., disturbance, S Pacific; subject said mom called, said someone hitting subject’s daughter, no offense, verbal only, situation over child custody.

7:15 p.m., welfare concern, N Newsom; neighbor’s dog barking loudly, subject can’t reach neighbor, EMS contacted, contact made with resident, all well.

8:15 p.m., assault, Bluebird; subject said ex trying to grab their son, he wouldn’t let her, ex slapped subject, left. Case report filed.

10:00 p.m., motor vehicle accident, N Pacific; two-vehicle accident, both vehicles out of road, no injuries. Standard field sobriety tests conducted, probable cause search, Tamra Lynne Cooper arrested for driving while intoxicated with open alcoholic container.

The Mineola Police also made 172 traffic stops, 18 animal control calls, and 18 alarm calls between Jan. 16 and Jan. 30.
