The Mineola Police Department will host its 2026 National Night Out celebration Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 6-8 p.m. in downtown Mineola.
The community event is designed to bring residents and local law enforcement together while encouraging stronger relationships between police officers and the people they serve.
Residents are invited to meet local police officers, visit with neighbors and take part in an evening of family-friendly activities. Food and drinks will also be available.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood involvement with the goal of helping make communities safer and more connected.
The Mineola event will focus on bringing residents, law enforcement, community partners and volunteers together under the theme, “Stronger Together. Safer Together.”
The event is free and open to the community.
