And just like that we are into November. We have books full of ideas for food and crafts for this time of year. Please, stop by the library at 301 N. Pacific in Mineola and see what we have to offer.

We have three poster displays regarding the history of Mineola, the Beckham Hotel and New Hope. These were researched and put together by local students, and we would love for you to stop by and view their efforts. They are on display in the children’s department for a limited time.

We have received Texas America 250 poster exhibit from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. For the next five months, we will display a new poster highlighting historically significant Texas Treasures from the State Archives exploring the history of Texas over the past 250 years. In April 2026, all five posters will be displayed throughout the library. We hope to see you soon as you stop by and view the exhibit.

Toddler Time continues on Tuesday mornings at 9 a.m., Preschool on Wednesday at 10 a.m. and Homeschool Heroes will meet on the third Friday of the month. All activities will be suspended Thanksgiving week and we will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, Nov 26-27.

The Mineola Memorial Library is a 501(c)3, non-profit and your donations may be tax-deductible. We would like to thank Janice Wisner and Mineola Community Chest for their donations.
